The location is nice, very close to airport, less than 10 minutes drive. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The breakfast buffet is decent. Unfortunately, my room faced the main road and was quite noisy at night. All staff is nice and helpful.

Stayed here one night on our way back to Uganda. Not quite sure what kind of room we got because it consists of several buildings. Our room was ok, basic with a good bed with klamboe, good wifi, ok bathroom, nice shower. Bar and restaurant are in other buildings, so don't go back to reception to find it, as we did during a heavy rain shower. Restaurant an breakfast were good. Take care when ordering soup, you'll get a huge amount.

Very nice and very close to the airport. First time in Rwanda and this was a well needed rest after a long flight for our first night. Very close to the airport, and the hotel has a very nice restaurant with nice outdoor seating over looking a section of the city. Staff was very helpful, and room was comfortable.

Spent one night. The hotel is well located and security is taken seriously. No soundproofing: my room faced a pathway with lots of people coming and going; fortunately it quieted down after 23:00. The room had no A/C, which is definitely an issue when the outside temperature exceeds 30°C, although there was an electric fan. Amenities included electric kettle and mini-fridge. Well located power jacks. Comfortable bed with mosquito nets and pillows. The bathroom window was misaligned and couldn't be closed. Every time the toilet was flushed, the water kept running, and it took several attempts to get it to stop. Shower with hot water and good water pressure. Wifi was poor: very slow and constantly disconnecting. Breakfast buffet with reasonable selection.

We arrived Kigali after a long trip and were met at the airport by the hotel. It was so wonderful to have them pick us up. The hotel is a lovely spot in the middle of the city with so many flowers, plants and trees. We were going to go for a walk out side the hotel area but the grounds were so large and vegetation so varied we just stayed inside the walled area. They have a number of different types of accommodations. I think we were in the older and not so fancy area. That was fine because everything was great but you need to make sure you understand exactly which accommodations you are booking. The restaurant and bar are great and the food is excellent. It seemed that a number of the guests were locals and that is always a good sign. Our breakfast lattes were amazing. Definitely a lovely place to stay in Kigali.

I've been to Rwanda several times, but this is the first time I've stayed at Chez Lando. I'd certainly stay again! Staff across the board are incredibly attentive. Reception staff are open day and night and available for anything you might need or require. The cleaning staff are friendly and attentive, both in cleaning the room and doing laundry (I was there for 2 weeks so needed this service and wasn't disappointed). Restaurant staff are incredibly professional and friendly, accommodating every request made. Big shoutout to Innocent in the restaurant who always has a smile on his face and put a smile on mine everyday! There is also a separate BBQ area in the evenings. Prices are really quite cheap for the quality of food served. The gardens are beautiful, very well maintained, and a lovely place to sit and read/relax/do some work. The room I got was listed as an economy room, and for some it might feel a bit dated, but it had a Queen sized bed with mosquito net, a mini fridge, a desk and a separate bathroom. The TV can be a bit hit and miss with the wifi signal but I was staying for work so didn't use it much at all. Having read reviews about how busy it was, I agree that it is busy at night - it is right in the middle of Kigali in an area called Remera, which is well known for being bustling and full of shops, restaurants etc. It never bothered me as, being a Londoner, I'm used to the noise! However, you might want to request a quieter room on the opposite side of the hotel to the main road if you want more peace and quiet. There is also a regular shuttle service to the airport. All in all I would definitely stay again. It is a lovely hotel. A tip: this place is an important landmark when learning about the history of the country, make sure you know and understand the story behind this amazing place when you're there!

What an amazing gem, I served in Rwanda 30 years ago and we returned to celebrate Kwibuka 30. The location is great, everything easy walking distance. The staff are so great, always smiling, saying hi, ready to help, Jean Paul at the counter is an amazing person and so friendly. If you have an issue he is there to fix whatever it is. Emmanuel we enjoyed your hard work and smile everyday. The food was great, every morning we went for breakfast to see chef Louis...again an amazing person with a huge smile. If I ever return to Rwanda you can bet that this where we will stay. Thanks a million to all staff.

Very nice surroundings. Awesome food in the restaurant. And shuttle service to airport 24 hours. Staff very nice and attentive. I had two friends who were also going out on the late 2:55 am flight I was one, they allowed them to hangout with me in the room at no extra cost.
