Incredible experience staying for the first time. All hotel staff were very professional and friendly at all times and could not have been more helpful. Spa staff were amazing too, especially Garry who made the experience of a treatment incredible. Will stay again.

I stayed here with 3 friends on a girls spa weekend. From the time we arrived to the time we left, it was absolutely amazing. We really felt like the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and everything was perfect. The blonde lady who runs the Lounge during the day was so friendly and helpful and Gary in the spa was great and also very knowledgeable and gave great advice. The dinner in the Lounge was delicious and the gentleman on the piano was amazing. He really added to the atmosphere and we loved his song choices! We can’t wait to come back!

Me and my partner were bridesmaid and groomsmen at a wedding here. The hotel is absolutely outstanding. The views are exceptional and the service was nothing like we have ever experienced. Worth every single penny. A huge shout out to Brendan, manager/ concierge. He could not have done anything more to make our stay more accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed the most wonderful time here for our friends wedding, beautiful venue and accommodation - the view is totally picturesque and made the perfect backdrop for our friends beautiful wedding pictures. The service from the staff was impeccable, nothing was too much trouble. A special mention goes to Brendan, he truly goes above and beyond! The wedding breakfast was absolutely delicious, presented beautifully but tasted amazing too. We would not hesitate to recommend Aghadoe to anyone visiting Killarney!

We had the most amazing stay at Aghadoe this Easter. The location and views overlooking the lake are just amazing. Staff were great, very knowledgeable and professional. Special thanks to Carmel, the General Manager for her hospitality. The food for breakfast was delicious. We ate in the bar for two evenings and really enjoyed our meals. Attention to detail was exceptional. This place really allows you to relax and disconnect and spend quality time with your family.

On Easter Monday, 7 of us booked the lounge for food at 3.30pm. We had a fab evening there. The setting, the food etc was all just lovely. We had Burgers, Fish, Curry & Pasta bake, and all were really nice. Top marks to all at the Aghadoe Heights. The one thing tho, that I have to comment on, is the price of a glass of wine. €12 for a glass wine!!!!!!! I like my wine, but don't think I have ever paid that for a glass. It is too expensive.

Need to book spa in advance (booked up on arrival), not great. Pool area is poor.
Doesn’t seem great value as it seems closer to a 4 star than 5.

This modern hotel is situated on the outskirts of Killarney, overlooking the lake. However there is a road between the hotel and the lake. Staff is great, very accommodating and helpful when asked to stay on longer on the check out day, due to someone feeling ill. Friendly and efficient service at reception and restaurant. The concierge was also great, very friendly and helpful. You can get a convenient shuttle into town and back for no extra cost. Modern, spacious rooms and large bathrooms. Beautiful views. Delicious food in the restaurant and bar. Only negatives are that the restaurant food is very expensive and the pool too cold. For the spa, you not only have to book your treatments but also the steam room and sauna. None of these facilities (except a whirlpool) are available on the spur of the moment.
