"It is a traditional Irish-style hotel. It is very luxurious, but there are some minor inconveniences. The bathroom, in particular, is a bit inconvenient. The location is convenient, situated right in the middle of the company and near a great pub."

"Description states mountain view but there is no view at all and no privacy on the ground floor standard family room they assigned. When i highlighted this, they said only penthouse has mountain view :( The water heater and living room heater is not fully functional. Washing machine was an utter disaster- the drum does not spin and only made alot of noise for the 1-2hr run. At last i had to spend many euros and much precious time to find a laundromat nearby to wash and clean my family’s clothes! Utter disappointment!!!"

"We were rather disappointed with our basement room looking onto a brick wall which I must say was overpriced at 160 euros. The bathroom was quite shocking - a piece of carpet was propped up to cover a large hole under the sink, the bathroom heating was an electric floor blow heater screwed to the wall with missing controls so we couldn’t turn it on this morning. The bathroom fan was very noisy like it was broken and came on with the light so had to be endured. In the bedroom the heating was via a storage heater, only on/off controls, thermostat not working. Thirty year old business not trying hard enough to deliver quality but charging for a better product. Won’t be back for sure."

"This hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy Killarney, even if you don’t have a car. (We did, and were happy that there was plenty of free parking on the property.) Both of the reception staff were wonderfully cheerful and helpful. It was fancier than I had anticipated given that the cost was more budget friendly than other places in town. There was a beautiful lounge that served drinks at 5pm, a separate library room open to all, and a beautiful dining room where the wait staff was just amazing for the included breakfast. The room itself was nice. The mattress was not uncomfortable. There was not a mini-fridge in the room, but the kitchen was happy to store something in theirs for me. The hotel is surrounded by a small border of lovely gardens that can be enjoyed by just opening the window. I would very definitely stay here again and again."
