Windway House

Frank is a great host, waited up for us who needed to check in late due to flight delays. Rooms are comfortable, we slept and showered well. Tea and coffee supplied plus a hair dryer and safe. Close walk into the town centre plenty of breakfast places just ask Frank.

Windway House is only a 10 minute walk from the bus and train station and its location is absolutely ideal because the location is really quiet at night so you have the benefit of being 5 minutes away from High Street and Main Street yet you also have the chance to have a great nights sleep. Frank was a great host. Really helpful and really great with guests and he was very funny too. His communication before and during our stay was fantastic and he was really helpful and made sure we got to the INEC on time by arranging transport. Considering the cold snap at the moment, Frank made sure the heating was on and the rooms were really comfortable and warm and the rooms were really clean too which is a credit to the hosts. I would definitely stay here again and I would definitely recommend it to anybody seeking a great location with great hosts.

What a wonderful place to stay. Frank, our host, is incredibly helpful and friendly. From check-in to touring advice, chatting with Frank is like reconnecting with an old friend. He gave us excellent touring advice based on our desires and we spent a fantastic day in Dingle and the peninsula. Our room was quite comfy and clean. Breakfast was tasty and filling both days. All in all, we highly recommend Windway House and will stay there in the future.

We stayed at this wonderful B&B in Killarney. Frank was the best host on our trip. He made us feel welcome right from the start. Very nice and clean rooms. We took over the living room one night, and met his entire family! Breakfast was wonderful! And just a short walk into town for restaurants and pubs. A truly great place to stay!

There was a great lack of service and Frank was unfriendly. He was in a rush to leave us to ourselves even when we asked about restaurants he had little to say and was brusque. The first thing he had to say was "We don't serve breakfast" . He gave his receipt that also said that however when booking there was nothing. The room was tired, very tired. It needed a new everything, from mattress to wallpaper and eveything in between. Just go somewhere else.

The rooms were very nice here and right near the main street of town. We had a great time. The proprietor was wonderful and gave great service. The guests had a sitting room to gather in and a little fridge where you could put some wine in. Our host provided some wine glasses as well. Breakfast was great.
