An outstanding B & B! We loved Loch Lein Country Home! The room was large, very clean and well appointed. The house was beautifully decorated and we had use of the living room, bar and library. The location was great as it sits on the end of Loch Lein and you are only 10 minutes from Killarney. Their biggest asset, however, are the owners, Annette and Paul, as well as their friendly and very accommodating staff! Annette and Paul go out of their way to make sure you are happy and will do anything to be helpful. The breakfast they provided was also outstanding. They have several continental food items, but also a good selection of hot items that can be ordered from the kitchen. We would also recommend the Killarney Brewery & Distillery down the street for excellent beer/spirits, food and service. We ate there 2 out of 3 nights. The B & B is also open for dinner (6:00-8:00 pm), but we did not try it. We are sure it is excellent too since their breakfast is so good. We highly recommend the Lock Lein Country Home!!!

This place was absolutely incredible! We were able to stay for two nights during our romp around the country, and it is BY FAR the most incredible place we have stayed at. Paul, Annette, and Jack are all so sweet, it truly feels like a family establishment. The old world charm of the hotel, the gorgeous view of the lake, and the stunning rooms all added to the excellent experience. The restaurant itself deserves its own full review, the breakfast is delectable and dinner was so special and so delicious. The waffles at breakfast are hands down the best waffles I have ever had in my life! On top of this, it really feels as though Paul and his team truly care about the guests and their lives, not just the experience they have at the house. We were floored by how special these accommodations were, and would return to Ireland for a vacation just to stay here again.

Propriété familiale très agréable, confortable et emplacement idéal pour rayonner dans le Kerry. Annette, Paul et Jack leur fils sont des hôtes parfaits à la fois discrets, aux petits soins et efficaces. Nous avions la chambre 104 au rez de chaussée, sans doute la plus vaste de l’hôtel ( 1 lit double + 1 lit simple) avec une vue magnifique sur le jardin et le lac. Nous y avons séjourné 4 nuits , ce qui nous a permis de découvrir les peninsules de Dingle, Ring of Kerry et Beara sans changer d’hôtel. Nous aurions même pu rester une nuit de plus pour la visite et le shopping à Killarney. La restauration est excellente tant pour le petit déjeuner que le dîner. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et les appétits. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement et remercions Annette, Paul et Jack pour leur accueil.

Our West coast road trip saw us staying in 8 different places…… this was by far the best one, head and shoulders above all the rest in fact. It was perfect in every way, super clean, very friendly, perfect location, fantastic food too. Can recommend it without reservation. Really really hope we can go back.

We recently took a trip to Ireland and stayed at Loch Lein Country House. This was, by far, our favorite place we stayed. The property, rooms, host, staff, and stunning views exceeding our expectations. Our dining experiences were also exceptional. Loch Lein Country House is a hidden gem that we hope to visit again.

Our arrival at this beautiful country house was a delight. Annette and Paul welcomed us as if we had come to their own home . The house had magnificent views over a Lake and paddocks with sheep. The room was spacious and comfortable . A stunning breakfast was included and an evening meal was optional and reasonably priced. Killarney centre was 7 minutes drive and we did a day trip to The Ring of Kerry . This accommodation was a highlight of our wonderful self drive trip in Ireland .

Annette and Paul were wonderful hosts! The accommodations were fantastic. And the view from our room was amazing. Each morning they served the guests a full breakfast cooked fresh for each individual and my husband loved the traditional Irish breakfast and brown bread. We also had dinner each night at the hotel and the food was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. I had the hake one night and steak the second night. We would definitely stay at Loch Lein again. Thank you.

A truly exceptional experience. We are seasoned travellers and users of hotels and, without exception, every element of our stay was perfection. Paul and Annette welcomed us warmly, the bedroom was spacious and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Fresh flowers and crisp white linen in the bedroom and dining room added to the high levels of care and comfort. The food was excellent and the ambience friendly with nothing being too much trouble. The location just outside Killarney is gorgeous with far reaching views across the lake. Highly recommended. If we return to Killarney, Paul and Annette will be our chosen hosts. Thank you.

Stay here ! Beautiful facility and wonderful staff ! 10 minutes out of the very busy (but enjoyable) “town” of Killarney, easy access to town but Loch Lein in a very beautiful and quiet setting with stunning views ! Hosts Annette and Paul and support staff were so kind, warm and helpful. Small fully stocked bar for a drink in the afternoon if you don’t want to head to a pub in town. Excellent food for breakfast and dinner. We had a fantastic time here visiting Killarney and Burren National Parks, Gap of Dunloe, Dingle, Cliffs, etc..
