A wonderful place to be! Surrounded by jungle trees in a beautiful environment the spacious and country-specific furnished cottages are perfect to relax after exciting travel days. I really liked the small paths between the cottages and the restaurant. The staff is extraordinary caring and friendly and wanted to make everything possible for us. The food was very tasty and different every day. Richard, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and is always looking after his guests. In Buhoma there are so many things to explore aside the gorilla tracking so it’s worth to stay longer than the usual two nights as most of the guests do (we stayed longer 😀). I’m sure to come back and stay again at Buhoma Gorilla Camp!

Loved this hotel so much! The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, helpful, and fun and the accommodations were so lovely. They added touches like adding a bed warmer and spraying for mosquitoes before bed. I would 10/10 recommend. Our only regrets was only staying for one night!

The lodging is spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the cabins are spaced far enough away to have privacy. The location is amazing, and there's even a shortcut to the craft center in town. The staff are very friendly and provide incredible service. They even gave us umbrellas to borrow so we didn't get wet during the rainy season. The food is delicious, and the chef is very friendly. There's even wifi! Highly recommend!

As a tourist you naturally come to Bwindi for THE mountain gorillas. Logically you also have to spend the night and eat somewhere. In our opinion, there is no better place (especially if you look at the price/quality ratio) than Buhuma Gorilla Camp. An extremely friendly welcome on arrival, with warm towels and fresh fruit juice. Extremely friendly and professional staff. The houses are SPACIOUS and perfectly located among the trees. The design has been well thought out. Everything you want as a traveler is there. Sufficient light points (in Uganda this is sometimes lacking in even the most luxurious lodges) and sockets. Place to put your suitcase/bag. And finally a hotel/lodge that understands that with two people you also need two places for suitcases/bags. TOP. Good bed with a mosquito net/mosquito net. Veranda with sofa for cottages. Spacious bathroom with a really hot shower. Just a nice room. Food in Uganda is almost everywhere very good or even excellent. The chef of this restaurant surpasses anything we have eaten in Uganda. Truly Blissful. Not only very tasty, but also a fantastic presentation. It was the best meal of the entire holiday. The banana fritlers (fried banana) are the tastiest we have eaten in all of Uganda. We begged the chef to make this delicious dessert again the next day. Everyone on staff sincerely wants to make you happy. Extremely friendly. The camp/lodge is a 10-minute drive from the place where the Gorilla Trekking starts. Very nice that you don't have to drive too far. We can recommend this place to everyone.

We've come back to Italy a couple of weeks ago. Our stay at Buhoma Gorilla Camp was one of a kind, we were a couple with our son. You can see it has been planned and built by someone very knowledgeable about nature and sustainable tourism, when you are in your lodge you feel like you are in the jungle, there's also a nice stream you can enjoy the relaxing sound of. everything has been built respecting the style of the country, great wood everywhere. The staff also has been chosen carefully, you see a great team working together, friendly among them and with the guests. Everybody has been kind, anticipating our wishes, and helpful. Buhoam Gorilla Lodge is also very conveniently located. Uganda is an amazing country, and safe to travel to, but the extra help and needed suggestions you can get from Richard, the super kind and fun to be with owner, make your journey smooth besides unique.

We really loved the place. Located at only two kilometers from one of the entrances of the Bwindi National Park, it's clearly a perfect place to approach all the activities within this unique park. The lodge is composed by few beautiful cottages immersed in the forest. We were surrounded by greenery and the sound of birds and the flowing water in the tiny river passing underneath our family room. The service was excellent: Richard and his team were super nice and kind, also extremely helpful solving the issues we had with other companies, they made us feel part of a family. This place will remain in our hearts and I really recommend it to anybody wishing to spend few days in exploring this wonderful region and meet the gorillas. You feel the real Africa, in the middle of the forest, and the lodges are wooden made and eco-friendly. I can strongly recommend this place where we hope to soon be back

We had a spacious and clean room. The staff was very friendly. They even brought a table and chairs from the hotel as a surprise for us so that we could dine by candlelight next to a stream among the greenery. There was also WiFi in the restaurant and electricity connection and hot water in the room.

The rooms are spatious, clean, nice and have comfortable beds and a good shower and bathroom. The service is great, people are friendly and the meals are good and on time. Very good price/quality, especially for its great location near to the Buhoma gorilla tracking starting point!
