Long Quay House

Peter was a great host and a really interesting. He provided great advice re restaurants and activities. The house and our room were beautiful and very conveniently located. Kinsale is well worth a stop. Look for the beautiful - and original - red door.

From the moment we arrived, Peter was very attentive and hands on. He welcomed us and helped carry the bags upstairs (no lift) and showed us our rooms. Our room was impeccably clean and spacious with a wonderful view of the harbour. I admit, I never saw my kids room because I was blown away by ours. We could walk everywhere in town so we didn't need the car until check-out and it stayed parked directly in front of the hotel (viewable from our room). Peter gave us the history of the house and some great recommendations in town so we set out exploring this lovely town. The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. The made to order breakfast was the best we had in Ireland with friendly attentive service. We are definitely staying here again!

Everything about this overnighter was 5* for us. It was my birthday and I couldn't have been treated any better. Bed was very comfortable. Nice and quiet despite being on main road. Lovely staff. Great breakfast choices. Just off centre of town but everything was walking distance.

This was a great place to stay, with the property in an amazing location, (on the water’s edge) and the property being immaculately maintained by a husband, wife & some team. The rooms were very spacious and the breakfast was fantastic, with great quality all round

Long Quay House is the perfect place to stay in Kinsale. Great restaurants and pubs are located just a short walk nearby. The staff is extremely professional and curious. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well furnished. The hotel, a Georgian style manor house, has a lot of character.

The location can't be beat!! The central bus terminal is across the street so you can arrive from the Cork Airport easily but far enough away so that there is no noise. Brought a car- there's a large parking lot across the street. Wonderful pubs, restaurants are a 15 min walk away. Our room on the top floor was spacious with a terrific view of the harbor. Large breakfasts were made to order with the smiling, happy Joleta as your server, to start your day!

Property was beautifully kept and in a great location. Bars, dining and shopping all within a 2 minute walk.

This was a great find in Kinsale. Ideally situated close to the main streets of Kinsale and reasonably priced considering that accommodation in Kinsale is expensive. There is parking available in the public car park across the road for a small fee during the daytime. The rooms were very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Most of all, the owners-operators are very friendly and extremely helpful - they carried our bags upstairs and even helped me take our bags back over to the car in the public carpark when were leaving in heavy rain and strong wind. Thanks for making out two night stay in Kinsale very memorable.

Perfect location. Lovely hosts. Great breakfast. Easy nearby parking. Really felt welcomed — and yet the privacy of a great guest house/inn. The view of the water was gorgeous. A real treat.
