Relais & Chateau Rosengarten behoort tot de categorie best denkbare hotels. Overgenomen van de ouders in 2000, hebben Simon Taxacher en Alexandra er een uiterst knappe verblijfplaats uitgebouwd. Aanvankelijk focuste Simon op het culinaire aspect. Met resultaat. Intussen heeft hij twee sterren in de Michelin, en 19/20 van Gault Millau. Al jaren houdt hij dit uiterst hoge niveau aan, in zijn restaurant, en in de bistro - waar de gasten het alleen maar met een gangetje minder moeten stellen. Naast zijn kookkunsten, etaleert Simon ook een neus voor design: het hotel is mooi geconcipieerd, en de kamers (een twintigtal) ronduit verbluffend, inclusief wijnbar en American KingSize bed! Alexandra bouwde dan weer een weelderige wellness uit, in de kelder van het hotel, met sauna, stoombad, een prachtig zwembad (sinds zomer 2017) en fijne hand- en spandiensten van de masseur. Het enige nadeel, is er een voor kniesoren. Het hotel ligt een kilometertje van de skipiste. Maar die afstand wordt in minder dan geen tijd overbrugd met de steeds beschikbare shuttle van het hotel.

Légèrement et parfaitement en retrait de Kitbühel, cet endroit respire l'authenticité et le professionnalisme de ses hôtes. Dès notre arrivée, le design des lieux et la beauté des matériaux impressionnent. L'élégance et le confort de la chambre et des aires communes sont digne des plus beaux et plus récents établissements Relais & Châteaux. L'apothéose demeure la cuisine de Simon Taxacher, définitivement le meilleur repas gastronomique que nous ayons mangé en Autriche...et probablement dans ce bas monde! Un environnement fabuleux et un service authentique, simple et impeccable. Excellent sommelier. Ce repas demeurera l'un de nos plus beaux souvenirs d'Autriche. Merci Simon et Sandra pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse.

Our stay near the Kitzbühel Alps was made even more enjoyable by the friendliness of this hotel. The staff was absolutely professional and our culinary experience in the Rosengarten Light (breakfast and dinner) was perfect. The welcoming glass of champagne was lovely. The only downside would be the size of the Junior Suite, we were expecting something a little bit more comfortable and spacious. Nevertheless, lovely atmosphere!

Wir haben hier wundervolle 3 Nächte verbracht. Die Suite war sehr geräumig, alles sehr modern und designorientiert eingerichtet. Super: der begehbare Kleiderschrank. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und frisch, das Restaurant bot eine sehr gute Küche. Aber das wohl Allerbeste war das Haubenrestaurant von Simon Taxacher - war das ein Genuss (siehe Fotos). Selten so viel Kreativität bei der Zubereitung von frischen Speisen erlebt. Der Mann hat zu REcht 4 Hauben und 19 GM Punkte. Die Schlafqualität ist nur als absolut exzellent zu bezeichnen. Solche Betten sollte sich jedes sehr gehobene Hotel leisten. Wir haben selten so gut und so tief geschlafen. Danke für den Tipp, wo es diese tollen Matratzen gibt.

Good room, and good reception BUT appalling service at both breakfast and dinner. Staff not proactive at all, made worse by very small breakfast buffet compared to 99% of 4 star hotels. Overall very disappointing to wait 1 hour for 1 course of dinner... 3 star service spoilt our stay. Hotel Elizabeth 100 metres up the road is vastly better than here.

We really enjoyed our stay in this Hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our son would love to stay forever. The shuttle to the slopes works just perfect. The pool is great and the restaurant AMAZING. We will definitley be back and thank you Rosengarten team!

Selve hotellet og personale er der ikke noget at udsætte på. Men lever ikke op til 5 stjernet hotel. beliggenheden er ualmindelig dårlig lige op ad en befærdet landevej og bolig kvarter.

We felt very comfortable from arrival to the last day. The small, charming hotel is characterized by its friendly staff, the good service and the charm of the owner! We always enjoyed a good breakfast, thanks to the improving weather also on the terrace. The dinner as a five-course menu was always innovative, extremely tasteful and always a positive taste experience. The wine recommendations also spoke for themselves. A small and fine SPA completes the offer and the fall massage received from Rita was excellent. Thanks for that.

Tolles Hotel mit phantastischem Essen ! Sehr schönes Haus ! Moderne Zimmer mit modernem Bad ! Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames - aber nicht aufdringliches - Personal ! Und ein phantastisches Essen : wunderbares Frühstück mit frischen, regionalen Produkten und speziell zubereiteten Eiergerichten nach Wunsch ;-) ! Und am Abend ein phantastisches, abwechslungsreiches, sehr hochwertiges, außergewöhnliches 5 gänge Menü ! Ein Erlebnis !
