The hotel room was very good, and clean, situated in central Kiruna (the "old" Kiruna, which is about to be moved!). Good breakfast, and also lunch (no meat, but fish and good vegetarian options). Friendly staff.

Very nice stay in an interesting place. Kiruna has a lot to offer in terms of places to visit. In addition, many of the buildings will be relocated due to expanded mining operations. Also hotel Ferrum will be relocated.

Noicy rooms with a strange noice from the vwntilations. We didnt get eny sleep that night. Staff did nothing to sort this out or didnt deduct wnything from the price. We choose another hotel in Kiruna for the rest of our stay

Kiruna is an amazingly beautiful city and the hotel is in a great location. City is in motion so this hotel will close and I understand why you don't want to put to much energy in the hotel, you can tell it is a bit worn down but clean and good for work visits. Breakfast was really good, over my expectations and they had everything you could want.

We stayed two nights. When we checked in, the receptionist seemed very uninterested in us, barely being able to speak to me. The next morning I spoke with another receptionist, who could not have been more helpful. Breakfast is very good, with pancakes included. Only down side is that they fry the sausages, when in other Scandic's they boil them. I prefer these type of sausages boiled. The room was ok, only complaint would be the curtains. They say that they have black out curtains, but they definitely were not in our room (302). Single material does not keep the sun out at night (June/July time), I thought black out curtains should contain some plastic to block the light. The room was far from totally dark. Free parking outside the hotel with limited spaces, but you can park in the kommuns carpark until 9. Would stay here again I think.

Outstanding Service - other chains could take cue. Staff was very courteous, always willing to assist and go the extra mile, made us feel very welcomed. Rooms were well laid out with all comforts in place. Will definitely stay again whenever i can in any location where Scandic is present.
