Ryokan très classique un peu vieillissant au tarif compétitif pour de la demi pension Navette gratuite aux différentes arrivées du train de la Chuo Line. Les chambres simples de 8 tatamis dans la bâtiment d'origine ont vraiment besoin d'une rénovation. Ni salle de bain ni WC dans la chambre. Celles de l'annexe sont plus modernes Personnel très aidant. Onsen sympa et peu fréquenté. Diner très copieux et délicieux mais le service est assez lent. Petit déjeuner très complet. tous les repas sont exclusivement japonais; Personnel très empressé et efficace; Une bonne étape dépaysante sur le Nakasendo trail/

We enjoyed our stay. The highlight was the rock-lined outdoor onsen fed by a hot spring. As we soaked in the mineral bath, we looked out at the snow-covered pines and blue skys above. It was the best onsen experience of our entire three-week holiday. We were there using a cold snap; the common spaces were chilly but our room was comfortable.

Loved our stay here! We had 2 vegetarians in our group of 7 and different dietary needs for everybody and they accommodated us perfectly! Very sweet and welcoming staff. Beautiful place.

We enjoyed our stay at this Japanese hotel. It's located in a valley within a small town, but its remoteness gives it a certain rustic and unique feel. When we arrived the staff jumped to get our attention and insisted on helping carry our luggage into the building. We were shown to our room which was spotlessly clean and absolutely beautiful. The two meals we had were great Japanese fare, each including about 12 or 15 different items to sample. Food quality is of the highest quality. The bathroom is beautiful and relaxing. We especially enjoyed the outdoor bathing. Super relaxing and open all night. We felt like we had an exclusive stay here; it's a place you won't soon forget once you've experienced it!
