A little out of town, but there are buses that allow you to get close enough. Very good welcome, I had forgotten to take the meal, they cooked me a very satisfying curry chicken, small but very pleasant onsen, large room.

We had a wonderful room! Fantastic view of the gushing river and tweeting birds in the day! Great area for an easy walk in the nature park. Night star gazing of the open sky was a magical experience. Meals were well prepared - very home style and wholesome. The service staff were most kind and professional! Worth the effort to get to this location - we had a pickup and send off service as well!

This Onsen is very well operated, beautifully appointed and in a natural setting that provides exceptional tranquility because of its natural beauty. The onsen itself, is the best of the five that we experienced during our two weeks in Japan. The meals were exceptional as were the staff. We could not have been happier and very much hope that we can return some day.

Yuta, the host, gave me a very friendly welcome and prepared an excellent dinner and also a delicious Japanese breakfast. The room was very clean and spacious. The onsen was also a plus, as was the hotel's quiet location in the mountains.

This is a single hot spring inn located on the edge of a mountain along a fairly narrow prefectural road. It seems that the owner has changed over the years, but the young owner was kind and pleasant. The hot spring is heated with a cold mineral spring containing carbon dioxide, calcium, and magnesium bicarbonate, but it is a free-flowing water. The bathroom has two small bathtubs with cold mineral spring water at 16 degrees and 19 degrees, and a heated bath at about 40 degrees at the back. Alternating baths in the hot spring water and the heated water were very pleasant. I could only stay in the 16 degree bath for about a minute. The hot spring seems to be effective against atopic dermatitis. There was a cold pot and cups for drinking the hot spring water in the lobby. It was a quiet hot spring inn where I could relax.

Even though I stayed there not for the purpose of hot springs, the hot springs were really nice. The view from the window was so beautiful, and even though it was a tough journey, it was a wonder that I wasn't feeling any fatigue. The owner was also very kind. My only regret is that I didn't include the meal. I gave up because I checked out early in the morning, but I wanted to try it! I regret that I couldn't have asked for it even just for the night. This is an inn I would like to visit again.

This is a hot spring inn run by the Japan Secret Hot Springs Preservation Association. The inn has a very nice a**osphere, and my family and I were able to spend a relaxing time there. Drinking the hot springs was also a valuable experience. Next time I would like to visit with a meal included.

An inn owned by the Association of Protecting the Secret Hot Springs of Japan, run by a young owner and a young proprietress. Looking at the reviews of the inn, there is a surprising change from the past and the recent evaluation. It seems that he was replaced by his grandfather and grandmother. The hot water is a carbonated spring, and carbonated springs are generally popular. It is said to be effective for various diseases, especially skin diseases such as atopy. The best carbonated spring in Japan is Myoken Onsen Ishiharaso in Kagoshima City. Yuya Onsen in Gifu Prefecture and Shimojima Onsen are also carbonated springs, and are located on the opposite side of this inn across Mt. Ontake. There are several carbonated springs in Japan, and like the Oki springs, they are very popular. Among them, the popularity of Okisen is high, and now that the customer service and cuisine have improved surprisingly, it seems to be even more popular than before. After it is full of day-trippers, it seems to be full of overnight guests. The owner's refreshing customer service is wonderful, and the cooking of the young proprietress is also very delicious, although it is a country dish. I dare say that the sound from the next room can be heard clearly and there is no toilet in the room.
