Beautiful well-appointed cottages, both neat and clean. Swartvlei is a lovely place to rest and re-charge your batteries. Beautiful gardens, lovely pool area, fire-pit area too. Amy was lovely and a pleasure to deal with, we will definitely stay there again when travelling in the area.

What a perfect spot to recharge your batteries! Most beautiful cottages and stunning gardens. We will visit Swartvlei Equestrian Estate again in the future as we were very impressed with the friendly service we received.

A very special short stay, will remember for a long time. Amy went out of her way to help us from start to finish.. Don't be deterred for a moment by the gravel road access to get in behind the lakes, there is a treasure to be found. And what a very special and interesting set of accommodations and facilities.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 7 Personen und übernachteten leider nur eine Nacht in dieser wunderschönen Lodge. Wir waren quasi die einzigen Gäste und konnten die ganze Infrastruktur für uns alleine benutzen (Biliardtisch, Bar, Grill) Jederzeit wieder

Swartvlei is a little piece of heaven, far enough from the town to be peaceful and quiet and yet close enough to get necessities when needed. We felt at home in this beautiful space and our dogs loved it too. Would recommend to any large family that travel together.

We are a large family, 9 people and six dogs. Can only say good things about this place. It is truly peaceful with majestic views of the countryside, forest and lake. It was lush and green and has a pool braai area as well as an indoor braai in the bar/games room. The staff are lovely and very helpful and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. It rained most of our stay so we could not walk as much as we wanted to but we’re still able to have a good holiday, We used the pizza oven, played pool, had both i for and outdoor braais, swam and simply relaxed.The dogs had a great time too. The beach is 15mins away. The road to town is a sand road which is rather uneven so best to drive in a car that is high off the ground.

An amazing place, with so much beauty. The abundance of activities makes it great for both adults and children. The amazing views and beautiful surroundings makes one appreciate nature so much more. Truly a great experience.
