The Bloem is simply great! It is luxury at its best and we would highly recommend it to our friends. The rooms are fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The location is good and if we come back to this area, we will definetly stay here again.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ben in! the service was amazing the room was perfect and everything was wonderful. We were greeted as we arrived and provided with a tour of the hotel. Our bags magically appeared in our rooms. High tea was in a lovely location of museum quality. Our needs were anticipated and umbrellas were offered when we went out. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable with thoughtful and elegant touches.

TheBloem, was soll man zu solch einem Hotel sagen. Wenn ich könnte auch hier würde ich gerne 7 Sterne geben. Selten so eine tollen Service erlebt, so ein schönes Zimmer mit so einer atemberaubenden Aussicht über Knysna. Wir waren leider nur 3 Nächte da. Es ist nicht ganz billig, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier wirklich sehr. Bei Ankunft wird man gleich auf dem Parkplatz herzlich begrüsst und alles wird bei einem feinen Empfangsdrink besprochen. Das Zimmer ein wahres Juwel, wir würden immer wieder die Suite 4 buchen. Atemberaubender Blick über ganz Knysna. Super schönes, stylisches Zimmer mit grossem Bett und Badewanne. Frühstück: man kann am Abend davor sagen, was man möchte und wo man gerne das Frühstück einnehmen will. Ob im allgemeinen Teil oder auf seiner eigenen Terrasse. Wir haben uns natürlich für die eigene Terrasse entschieden. Am Morgen genau auf die Zeit hin, kommen zwei Damen, die den Tisch sauber abwischen, Gedecke auftragen und dann das Frühstück servieren. Die Damen sind wunderbar hilfreichen und immer "verfügbar". Man darf wirklich nichts selber machen, nichts aus dem Auto tragen.... man ist stets da und hilft. Vielen Dank an alle die unseren Aufenthalt zu so einem wunderbaren Erlebnis gemacht haben. Zu 150% weiter zu empfehlen! Vielen Dank

Das Hotel ist absolut fantastisch. Schöne Lage , Super freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Wunderschönes Interieur bis in jedes Detail. Zimmerservice zweimal im Tag. Jeden Abend eine kleine Überraschung auf dem Zimmer :) egal ob Schokolade oder eine Rose. Man freute sich jeden Abend ins Zimmer zu kommen. Frühstück ist grossartig richtig lecker und für jeden ist etwas dabei . Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt! Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder . Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Tage :) Liebe Grüsse Manuel :)

This was our 2nd visit to Knynsa and as we stayed at Villa Afrikana the 1st time, we really wanted to stay with Bianca and Ross again, who also own The Bloem. This property overlooks the lagoon from the hillside with fantastic sunrise and sunset views. The rooms are immaculate and the team ensures the highest touches in hospitality. Breakfast is wonderful with incredible selections. This is a beautiful property and I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Knynsa - Bianca and Ross and their team are incredible hosts. A must stay !

Facilities 4 - the pool is tiny Room 3.5 - an awkward design made it feel like a converted garage. Well finished and a good sized bathroom. Wasn’t possible to watch TV from the bed. Breakfast -4 . Never a fan of ordering the night before especially in a 5star establishment. Bacon over cooked. Service 5+ - the staff bend over backwards to provide everything you need. Lovely small touches such as a glass of fiz with chocolate strawberries on arrival. Conclusion. Staff are doing all they can to make up for the property they have and they do a fine job. But this isn’t five star.

Thebloem is the most beautiful guest house located on a hill overlooking Knynsa. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jossy, who looked after us amazingly during our 2 night stay. Over our 16 day trip to South Africa , Thebloem was the best accommodation we stayed in. Beautifully decorated rooms with high quality bedding and stunning views. An added bonus of complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour each evening. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and Bianca, the owner, was present every day to offer advice on sightseeing and to ensure that everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this property enough. I wish they also offered evening meals as we would definitely have eaten there at night as well. Thankyou for an amazing stay.
