Staff are very friendly, helpfull and accomodating. Good location and lovely views. Breakfast is well set out, with a lot of viarety.

Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich angenehm dank unseren sehr zuvorkommenden Schweizer Gastgebern. Wir hatten das beste Zimmer mit schönster Aussicht auf Knysna. Das Frühstück war äusserst vielseitig und lecker. Danke auch für den interessanten Gartenrundgang.

Five star experience in every way. Attention to detail, from the Easter treats at the entrance to the welcoming tea and coffee as we arrived. We cannot rave enough about our stay at Candlewood and are so grateful for everything the team did to make it so special. Very deserving of its top position in the Tripadvisor rankings.

Everything was as expected at this property and the staff were pleasant and helpful throughout. Good location in a quiet neighbourhood. The evening classical concert in the garden was a bonus and most enjoyable.

As previous reviewers have said this is a very special B&B with an extraordinary breakfast - 5 star and very inventive. I wish the breakfast was an all day affair! Very comfortable and lovely hosts. BUT you do need a car as it is a 45 minute down to the town and waterside.

Urs und Matthias sind zwei wunderbare Menschen und perfekte Gastgeber. Die erhöhte Lage bietet eine traumhafte Aussicht über die ganze Bucht von Knysna. Wir haben viele tolle Tipps erhalten und uns sehr wohl gefühlt im grossräumigen Zimmer mit Balkon. Das Frühstück ist bietet alles was das Herz begehrt und der Cappuccino ist ein Traum!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

This lodge is located beautifully overlooking the lagoon. The landlord is exceptionally kind and helpful. He made dinner reservations for us. Great advice. The very best is the breakfast. Trust me, this is the best breakfast in town!!!!!

We had a lovely personal welcome from our host Matthias. The accommodation is amazing. Matthias was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and where to go in the area. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was a beautifully presented feast.

Lovely guest house only 5 minutes from the harbour area. I would say it was the best breakfast I have had in any hotel around the world it was superb. The rooms were nice and the staff so friendly. Highly recommend
