The hotel in the south of the island is really quiet. The park is built on the mountain and has a beautiful environment. Especially the massage room faces the sea and the scenery is picturesque. However, there are too many reefs in the shallow water area of ​​the hotel, no small fish can be seen, and the sunset cannot be seen on the hotel beach. The breakfast is quite satisfactory and the main meal tastes good, but there is a service charge and tax. There are three non-hotel restaurants on the left side of the hotel beach. I chose one and it tasted good. There was no service charge or tax. The seafood is all freshly caught from local waters on the same day. Even if it is fresh, the price is not expensive. The only drawback is that the southern part of the island is too inconvenient. There is only one convenience store near the hotel, which does not sell alcohol. You have to ride a motorcycle everywhere. There are too many downhill slopes and curves on the mountain road. There are no street lights. It is completely dark after 5:30! Only suitable for hotel stays and occasional travel. Overall good, worth recommending!

I stayed here for two weeks in Jan 2024. Was perfect. The bungalows are typically Thai. Very large with huge beds and great aircon. The resort is right at the southern end of long beach, close enough to bars and restaurants. Yet far enough from the road and other establishments to hear any noise. In fact, I did not her any late night loud music or noise. The owner Kim is the perfect host, and I only wish it were true that everyone in the hotel / resort business can offer such warm, welcoming hospitality to its guests. I have been coming to Koh Lanta since 2014. I would have no hesitation staying here again and recommending.

Travel by the company. Travel to Lantu was spontaneous and did not understand where to book better, stayed at Tamarind Lanta Resort combined with Tamarind Twin Resort. Large, clean rooms, well-functioning air conditioning and 24-hour swimming pool. The area is cozy and green. The price includes breakfast. The cafe where breakfast is held was not impressed, periodically pulled something out of the side. Breakfast is good and if you take dishes at another time of the day, it is also delicious. We planned to stay a few days but ended up staying for a week. The cottages are small ish but very clean and the bed was very comfortable, which is probably the most important thing for me when I travel. A lovely little veranda outside (with electric plugs) , and on some days I put the fan there and did some work on my laptop. The beach is 5 minute walk with a few restaurants and cafés along the way. The owner and his friend Suzan are really laid back and helpful. We booked our trips, scooters and laundry service there and prices were better than at any of the nearby agencies. No breakfast facilities but there are multiple breakfast places 2 min away. It's not a 5 star resort but we had everything we needed: a comfortable, clean place by probably the best swimming beach in Lanta.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Firstly the staff on the desk were very welcoming and collected our bags from the door and delivered them to our room. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and the check in process was effortless and very efficient. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool and beach were a 2 min walk from our door and the beach restaurant serves excellent food. There were no issues during our stay and I was able to rent a bike from the hotel reception which arrived in 5 mins which was also a very efficient service. After checking out a staff member dropped us to the pier where we continued our journey. Shortly after checking out the manager of the hotel (never got his name) emailed me to say I had managed to leave my €300 camera behind in the room. He rang me to organise how to get the camera back to me and went to the effort of bubble wrapping, and boxing up my camera to be delivered to Koh Phi Phi on the same day and rang me during each stage to keep me in the loop as to where my camera is. Once the camera arrived on the island he rang me to tell me where I was able to collect it. This level of customer service cannot go unrecognised and he asked for nothing in return. Words cannot express how much we enjoyed staying at this property. The family that runs it are some of the sweetest, most friendly people you'll ever meet and even gave us a big hug when departing this morning. The hotel and the rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed! They helped us book the travel to our next destination, helped us find a great motorbike rental and answered so many of our questions. They also operate the cafe downstairs which serves incredibly good coffee and food. The hotel is centrally located to everything you could want to be close to! We loved the environmentally friendly business practices they employ and they even gave us reusable water bottles that we were able to refill in the lobby throughout our stay. If you're looking for a place to stay in Ko Lanta, look no further...this is it!!!

I stayed in the hostel portion of this resort and it was great! The staff are very kind and friendly and, I was offered several times to let them know if there was anything at all that I needed! The hostel building, rooms, and beds were very clean, and it was a one minute walk or less to the beach, restaurant and pool! The pool was kept pristine throughout my stay, and the ocean is literally steps away, with a long beautiful beach! The hostel mattresses were a bit harder than I am used to, but most of my time was spent on the beach or in the pool, so it wasn’t an issue. The air conditioning worked great to keep cool after the long days in the sun, and the hostel was nice and quiet at night. Overall this is an absolute gem with the perfect location, and friendly, caring staff! I would highly recommend this hostel and resort!

Just wonderful. Outstandingly beautiful location. We loved: The welcome from our longtail and help from the staff to take our luggage to shore. Free kayaks and snorkel gear...and water! Spacious bathrooms Interesting wildlife including tucans...hermit crabs...lizards Dive man!!! Took our 11 year old for first dive Fabulous chef...utterly wonderful food. First class Great waiters Comfy beds Child friendly and felt safe
