“Nice Resort on Long Beach” Want a Sands is a nice resort on one of the best beaches in Thailand. Pool Access room was excellent and the buffet breakfast was very good. Lots of variety for either western or Thai food and very tasty. The staff at the resort are top-notch. Derek the manager and his team are committed to you enjoying your stay at the resort. Lots of families at the resort but also a great location for couples wanting to experience a wonderful resort on a beautiful beach in Koh Lanta. Highly recommend “Fabulous location on the beach! ” Fabulous hotel overall. Fantastic location next to the beach, and there was so many pools to use. We had a room with pool access and it was fantastic. The only thing, I wish the fitness room would’ve been slightly bigger but it was still good. Would definitely stay here again! All the staff at reception were lovely and made sure to always help when it was needed! Definitely recommend.

Everything was to our likes: beach, nearby restaurants, room, cleaning etc. The wifi was sometimes good and a few times less so. The breakfast is very good, both the food and the service. We especially enjoyed our walks in the area on the opposite site of the main road. In between the main road an the hills you walk soon enough in an area with farms, rubber trees and no tourists. Very nice resort with beautiful grounds and a nice pool area. Located on the far north end of the beach, it is quiet and peaceful. The restaurant has good food, although a bit over priced for the location. The rooms are large and we'll equipped. Our room had a couple of minor issues such as the shower head and the a/c leaking. The thatched roofs are in need of repair, but it looks like some work is being done. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again. Just note that some sea view rooms are actually the bay side, not the beach. Oh, and the staff are super friendly and helpful!!
