"Overall hotel is very lovely, super clean and peaceful. We booked room with a pool access and didn’t like it at all. Everything was so worn out, shiny tiles on the floor made it look dirty all the time. Acoustics was horrible. Above us was an Asian family…… felt like 10 people there, they were screaming, laughing, running in the room until the late night and you can hear absolutely all! And the worst thing was a lot of insects on our bed - dead and alive, flying, scrolling. So first night was a nightmare….. but we managed to change it for a bungalow and it was absolutely lovely. Nice design, silent, very clean, no insects inside. Food in the hotel restaurant is not the best. First evening we had there fried fish, they brought it fully covered in ketchup. One of the waitresses recognized Slav face in me and was constantly trying to speak in broken Russian with me and my husband, even after we said I am Ukrainian and my husband is Turkish, he doesn’t understand Russian and I don’t want to hear it. So we never ate there again. But breakfast was very nice, not very wide variety, but all super fresh. absolutely lovely egg station. Somehow they manage to cook each type of eggs in the very delicious way. Few words about beach and island itself. We traveled in the beginning of June and I was searching a lot of about life and activities on the island before coming….. couldn’t find much, so was relying on google maps showing a lot of bars and restaurants around. So, it is pretty frustrating, absolutely everything closed because it is a rain season. Beach looks very abandoned, only few hotels work, all other places look like people left in hurry and didn’t care about anything. In the storm beach is full of sharp glass and other trash and no one cleans it. You need to watch your step all the time. But I can imagine in the season and good weather it must be a very nice wide and still silent beach to walk. Nature is absolutely crazy, so many birds, lizards, snakes and other living things even on the territory of the hotel. Also they are taking care about two lovely cats, so we were constantly buying them some treats and wet food."

"We booked for 5 nights to enjoy a beach vacation as couple. Unfortunately during our stay they fixed the room and bathroom right below us which resulted in a really bad smell like sewage wandering through the pipes in our bathroom. We requested to switch rooms which the hotel kindly provided. The pool area is great. Breakfast is fine but nothing special. You can have Thai food for breakfast, fruits, breads and jams, eggs, cereals, juices. Location is great, there is a street food market right around the corner. You have to know they have high and low tide there every 6 hours so. When low tide you can take a walk to a close island but I would not recommend going to swim when high tide. There is partially Glas from broken bottles on the sand and the entrance to the piers for boats is close by. So it’s not a typical beach hotel with white long sand beaches and crystal blue water. We rented a scooter and went to other beaches for swimming."

"The stay at Isara Lanta was great! It is directly located at the beach and my highlight was that I had my own hammock in front of my bungalow. My room was cleaned every day and the staff was very friendly all the time. I had dinner in the restaurant twice and it was very delicious. The owner (?) is German so be prepared to see a lot of German dishes on the menu. The location of the hotel is great. You have direct beach access, scooter rental in-house, supermarket, restaurants and bars in walking distance. I would stay with Isara Lanta again."

"This hotel is a budget friendly, clean and quiet hotel. The breakfast buffet is good selection, waffles/pancakes/french toast, eggs by choice station, coffee/tea, fresh cut fruit, with a few changes from day to day. For this price this place was a gem! If you want a nice clean beach and pool next to it then this is the place to come"

"The receptionist is nice. As soon as you park your car, there's a golf cart waiting to pick you up. Upon check-in, there will be a welcome drink and cold towel provided while waiting for check-in. The staff recommended it well. But when entering the room, the housekeeper didn't take out the trash from the previous customer's bathroom. The amenities in the room were very ok. There is an iron stand ready. There are a lot of various bathroom items. There's even detergent provided. But Breakfast has quite a few options. and room service is slow And in the shower room Water from the shower flows out through the door and it becomes impossible to separate the dry and wet zones. It's all wet. There's a lot of deposit here, about 3,000 baht. Overall, I really like the staff here. Good service in every depar**ent. Especially the front"

"Just got back from an incredible stay at Long Beach Chalet in Koh Lanta, and honestly, I’d totally recommend it! The location is perfect — right on the beach with stunning views and epic sunsets that made every evening special. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcomed. Room cleaning was always spot on and right on time, which was much appreciated. We had a blast even in the low season — there’s always something happening, like different shows every night, which kept things fun. The spa was a standout — so professional, super clean, and the massages on the beach were just wow. They also offer yoga classes if you're into that vibe. Their coffeeshop is a hidden gem — great coffee, tasty sandwiches, and an impressive selection of cheesecakes. And the breakfast options…. Delicious and plentiful, perfect way to start the day. All in all, a fantastic spot to chill and unwind. If you're heading to Koh Lanta, definitely consider this place. We had an awesome time!"

"This for the Robinson Crusoe adventurers in you. My cheapest expenses up to now. I got to this place with the idea to live like in a deserted island hut. I was not disappointed. I took the second cheapest bungalow. All in bamboo. No fridge or security box. Just a Firm bed and a 3 speed fan. Muskito net surrounds the bed and the jungle night sounds as well. Your next to restaurants and 7eleven so you won't go hungry or thirsty. You can reserve tickets for every activities. Rent a scooter is a must to go around and enjoy the island. Ask for Scoottie the red scooter. Is my fav. Family owners are super nice and eager to help with anything. Every bungalow has a make shift Hammack where you will find your self often relaxing. Or walk 8 min toward the beach from from any ressort entrance. The OK is not for The luxury seekers.more for the Indiana Jones type that wants to disconnect from it all."

"This review might be targeted at the solo traveller who is doubting if this place will cater to them. I would say: DO IT! I have had an exquisite, pleasant stay. One of the better places I stayed during my time in Thailand for 3 weeks. Price and quality ratio is absolutely more than fair. The bungalows are spacious, the balcony is spacious and well equipped with furniture to sit on, the bathroom is big, the bed is comfy. I honestly can’t think of anything that wasn’t up to standard. The staff was very friendly, upon arrival I got everything explained to me really well and I got offered to hire a scooter. I did so for the time I was on the Island. Best choice ever. So good to explore the island, since everything is doable with scooter/motorbike. For the Island itself, it has truly stunning nature, beautiful beaches, fun activities, monkeys, nice nights out, without partying being the centre of the island. It was exactly what I needed. I want to go back so bad. And I will. And when I do. I’ll rent at Chomview again. If you’re expecting a 5* hotel and that’s what you’re looking for? This might not be the place for you, but for a fun, well located accommodation on the island, this is the one. I was particularly worried that it would be all kids in the resort and that I’d feel weird being there as a solo male traveller. But the bungalows around me particularly had people my age. Couples, friends travelling together, not just families."
