I've been here to see the cherry blossoms for 16 years and was very impressed with the hotel, it's very comfortable! Traditional Japanese hotel with great service! The meals were also great! I would recommend friends to go there, and seeing the maple leaves should be beautiful too!

The room is very cold without air conditioning, and the service attitude is poor. The waiter promised to deliver things within an hour but couldn't deliver them. The pictures and texts are inconsistent with reality. There is no private bath in the room, and the time for making the bed is uncontrollable. The waiter can follow his mood.

I used to see tatami in TV dramas, but now I really get it. The experience is super good. There are 3 hot springs. There are not many people at night, and it is not necessary to pay for private baths. Although dinner is a buffet, it is still very attentive. The staff is very friendly and explained various check-in matters carefully when checking in.

It is a traditional Japanese hot spring hotel with many Japanese people staying there. The decoration is quite old, and overall it's clean and acceptable, but it's definitely not comparable to newly opened hotels. It is suitable for those who want to experience a variety of traditional Japanese baths. Private baths in the cave are not expensive and are quite interesting. It is recommended to book a half-board accommodation as there are long queues for dinner at popular restaurants in town. The hotel has a lot of owl elements, which is very cute. If you want to go to Mita Outlet, the hotel will have a commercial vehicle to take you to the station. However, when I went there on New Year's Eve, the bus only left once a day in the morning, so I had to calculate the time in advance. The last bus from Kobe JR Station to Arima Onsen is around 16:00. If you miss it, it costs about 10,000 yen to take a taxi.

A very Japanese-style hotel, the sleeping experience on the tatami is very comfortable. Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained overall. The room was cleaned spotlessly and the service was very considerate. In early spring, the garden scenery is a bit dim, but I feel that the whole landscape will be more vivid in late spring and early summer when the flowers in the garden bloom or in late autumn when the trees turn deep red. I have not experienced the hotel's meals and cannot provide a valid evaluation. The front desk told me that the hotel's private hot springs are hot water, and only the three public hot springs are hot spring water. The hot spring pool next to the river is a great experience. When I go to soak in the evening, there is no one there. It has a unique artistic conception surrounded by mountains and rivers. The hotel is very close to the Arima Onsen Ropeway Station. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk. You can take the cable car to the Rokko Mountain Observation Deck to overlook the city of Kobe. The price of a taxi from Arima Onsen Hot Spring Station to the hotel is about 700 yen. The hotel has a shuttle bus. However, when we arrived at Arima Station at 8 o'clock on the day of arrival, no one answered the call to the hotel. This was the only drawback.
