It would take a whole page of details to describe how nice this place is in 2020. I stayed there three times, each time in different rooms, each time perfect. It is just NICE. Location is perfect, quiet yet one stop from Kobe, the neighborhood is romantic like Greenwich Village or Montmartre or a nice place in San Francisco. The little house is very cute, very homey, with a large common space. The staff are incredible. Just rush to stay there before the team get old and change business. For the time being, they are super super master of genuine hospitality. They made me understand what is the pinnacle of a ”guesthouse Japanese style”. There is an elevated railway line running just on the other side of the street. It is not a problem because during the night, there are no trains. I fully recommend this place. Hotel is located next to the highway. The car park is an internal smartpark system. So no need to park in public park area. Breakfast was delivered to your room. Choice of Japanese or Western breakfast. The spa bath was great, large bed and good airco system. Big TV and with great surround sound speakers on the ceiling. Design was modern and refreshing. Staff was friendly. They could have told me that breakfast would be delivered, I did not know this.

The location is close to the Shinjuku Line of Hanshin Line and it takes 10 minutes to walk. The hotel is not small, the room is not small, but it belongs to the lover hotel, usually the front desk can not see the waiter. Deliver food to the room in the morning. There are 2 canteens nearby, which is convenient for eating. In the previous stop, there was a supermarket in the last stop. After the last stop, there was a king in the Yuying station. I often got off the bus and went back after dinner. The hotel is surrounded by the famous Japanese sake production area. You can walk to the exhibition halls and buy wines at various major wineries to make a special tour of sake.

Libmax is located all over Japan, but there is not much good memories until now. Had the lowest image in the hotel chain, but here is very good. On the morning of the first day of the stay, the lower of the shower bed holder was loosened and the screw was loosened and the hot water was put out, and the bed was violent and inconvenient, so I asked the front desk to repair it. When I came back at night It was not fixed. Conveniently located at the heart of Kobe. The hotel has Onsen which is 👍👍👍 breakfast has a lot variety with Kobe specialities!

It's not bad. Compared with the 16-square-meter one I stayed in a few days ago, this 18-square-meter one is indeed larger and more spacious to the naked eye. The storage space is well designed. In a country like Japan where land is at a premium, living in this area at this price is very impressive. What can I say about the location of the hotel? According to my habits, walking more than 10 minutes from the subway or the center of the business district is not considered optimal. This hotel is only about a 10-minute walk from the Sannomiya business district, which is not particularly bad. But it's not on the main road, so it's relatively quiet.

2nd stay at the hotel. Once with a group of 16 and this time with my family of 3. To be fair, the stay was comfortable and I was initially very pleased at choosing Hotel Okura Kobe again. The reason for my low rating is that the hotel laundry service ruined 3 of my sweaters which were sent for dry cleaning. The sweaters have been dry cleaned before without incident but were shrunk considerably after cleaning at the hotel. I believe the dry cleaning was mismanaged and wrote in to give feedback, specifically that this type of mistake with laundry should not be happening at a hotel which markets itself on the higher end of the spectrum. Did receive a cookie cutter reply from the housekeeping manager acknowledging my complaint. I think the incident was perhaps caused by new staff that were poorly trained. Pity, the incident ruined my experience and resulted in the poor rating for an otherwise pleasant stay.

Really nice hotel, nice view, next to portliner train, 15min to Sannomiya, very convenient but away from all noise, only drawbacks is not many choices for food, only one relatively upscale restaurant which is quite nice though

We had a wonderful 1 night stay a few months ago before tourism opened back up. Highly recommend this place for people who are into more private, chill time. Loved the concept of this ryokan because instead of shared baths there were numerous choices of private baths throughout the property! Each needed to be booked in advance for a 45 minute session. They had an online reservation system but I think it was only in Japanese (my husband's native language) so I can't comment on that. Our room was fantastic; modern and huge, but still had charm. I think we were in Suite 13 which had its own private bath which you could open up the huge windows to a nice tranquil view of greenery. I liked that the entry had a super long hallway which helped with any noise (so quiet!). Personal touches such as selecting a complimentary gift (small drawstring bag) and fruit tray was noticed and appreciated. They were also very helpful to find us a restaurant to eat dinner at on a Sunday night (since we opted to not have the course dinner) - it was a delightful local meal ran by a married couple! I wish I remembered the name but it was izakaya home cooking style and so delicious. The breakfast on property was AWESOME. I opted to get the Western Style and my husband the Japanese. Such presentation and variety and a perfect start to our day. We would definitely be back to visit this place. They made us feel very welcome and relaxed! Arigatou gozaimasu *bow*
