When we first arrived the front desk told us that we reserved a smoking room. In the trip.com booking it does not say so though. The front desk said all similar rooms for non-smoking were booked out. We went up to the room but it smelled so bad that we asked agin for a different room showing them the booking. According to the hotel the booking was not directly forward to them by trip.com but by a different service therefore it varied from our actual booking. They were nice enough to give us a different room which was non-smoking. Unfortunately the room still smelled strange - at least no smoke smell. Additionally there was almost no hot water coming out from the tap. In the photo the hot water was fully turned on. Another issue was the parking. The one night stay fee was 1000 Yen (not for 24h). We checked out at 11 a.m. but decided to eat lunch in town and leave the car at the hotel parking. We took out the car at 2 pm and had to pay an additional fee of 1200 yen.

The hotel is located near Kochi Castle, and it is quite convenient to walk to Hirito Market. If you drive, there is a parking space for an additional fee of 1,000 yen per day. The room equipment is a bit old, but it is larger than other hotel rooms, so it is quite comfortable to stay.

Although the oldness is obvious, it is clean and comfortable to stay. Hirome Market is also nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding places to eat and drink. The only downside is that the convenience store is a little far away...

It was conveniently located near Hirome Market. Breakfast was also enjoyable with lots of Kochi products.

The room was quite comfortable. The service staff had a good attitude. The breakfast provided was very rich, with seasonal bonito sashimi, the fish meat was very delicious, and many different delicious foods. I will choose to stay here again if I have the chance next time.

The room facilities are complete and the service is warm and thoughtful. Although it is a bit far from Kochi Station (but it is very convenient to take the streetcar), it is very convenient to go to scenic spots and restaurants (Kochi Castle, museums, literature museum, OTEPIA, Ohashi Street, Hirohito Market, Obiyamachi, Harimayabashi, etc.) , just walking distance. If you go to watch a live show at the Kochi Prefectural Citizens’ Cultural Hall, I highly recommend this place. It’s only a three-minute walk away!

The room is also very large, with a small coffee table and two stools, and plenty of space to store several luggages at the same time. In addition, the hotel also provides parking

The facilities are comfortable and excellent, and the location is very convenient for exploring Kochi city on foot, including walking around Kochi Castle and the nearby Kagamigawa River. The heating was centrally controlled, so it was a bit cold the first day. When I asked the front desk for a blanket, the heating was restored the next day. Hotel service, cleanliness, and location are outstanding.

Go straight for one kilometer from the exit of Kochi JR Station and you will see the 123 sign. Turn right and go straight for about one kilometer and you will see the Kochi Castle sign to the left. Breakfast is 2,000 yen. You can take a cup of coffee back to your room. Use the KEY in old-fashioned hotels.

The building was a little old, but the breakfast was delicious and the access to tourist attractions such as Hirome Market and Kochi Castle was excellent! !

The hotel room is also large and the breakfast is rich. The hotel staff are also very friendly and polite. The only regret is that for a four-star hotel in Japan, the bedding is really terrible. I felt itchy while lying on the bed. This is rarely encountered in three or four-star hotels in Japan. Everything else is fine.

The location is good, within walking distance of Kochi Castle, Hirome Market, and Harimaya Bridge, but unfortunately the hotel feels old.

I was happy that the staff responded quickly to my sudden room change request. Also, I was given information about a nearby izakaya, and I was able to eat delicious bonito tataki. The breakfast buffet was also delicious ^_^
