Loved the deluxe suites. Very well designed and maintained. Felt quite relaxing here. Even the food was excellent. Chef Rahul made sure to cook delicious vegan meals for me. Really calm and peaceful ambience. Thank you for hosting me. I had such a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel has a relaxed, intimate feel to it, our bedroom on the courtyard was spacious and well-equipped, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool, although small, was very inviting after a day's sightseeing, and only a few steps from the ground-floor rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was excellent, and the location of the hotel is perfect for strolling down to the seafront and looking at the Chinese nets.

Came here twice for dinner and the food was excellent both times. The curries were flavourful, the staff were attentive and with a very nice atmosphere. I particularly liked the local fish wrapped in banana leaf. Definitely worth stopping in when you are in Kochi.

Really nice hotel with lovely large individualised bedrooms. Best of all was the fantastic service from the friendly staff, especially Ann Mary and Abin but I don’t know the names of the other staff who helped us. Food in the restaurant was really good too.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our room was more like a suite with an office/dressing area as well as a well appointed large bathroom and beautiful bedroom, complete with four poster bed. The art work in the room complimented the decor well. We had an outside balcony also. The outside hotel courtyard was small but well maintained as were the gardens to the front. The restaurant was good although breakfast was a bit chaotic and the choice quite limited. But for us, it was the staff, in particular AnnMary and Anjitha, who made our time here special. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but the girls went the extra mile, organising a late check out for us, as well as suggesting ideas of things to do, shopping, restaurants etc. They were so warm and friendly. The whole ambience was welcoming and friendly in this small, heritage hotel. Thank you all.

We stayed at The Malabar House for two nights at the start of our South Kerala trip. Our room was absolutely lovely with all amenities, including a welcoming fruit plate. We couldn’t fault a thing. We had dinner one night sitting out around the pool area, such a wonderful atmosphere, great friendly service and food. The staff were amazing, always on hand to help and so interesting to chat to. Particular thanks to all the staff on the night my husband left his camera in the restaurant. The next morning in a panic to see if it was still there, my husband found they had not only recovered it and put away overnight after trying to contact us in our room. Everyone was so concerned and it became the talk of our stay. We would definitely stay again if back in Cochin.

Un accueil char***t dans un lieu agréable et élégant. Le restaurant est très bon. La décoration des chambres est superbe avec des œuvres d’art indien. Merci de ne pas importuner les hôtes avec un inutile téléviseur ! Extrêmement bon emplacement !

Like staying inside a museum with 200-year-old paintings even in the guest rooms. Best of all was the top-notch level of service in the hotel side. Everyone was super friendly When our driver did not show for the trip to the airport, the night ***ager worked for 20 minutes until he got us a transport, even though it was already after midnight
