It’s Okay, we were there and n the middle of summer, and payed extra for the AC. Close to Kathakali centre and restaurants

I’m an Irishman travelling alone and in all of the cities and towns of the many countries in the world that I have travel I have to say that without a doubt this has been the one where I was made to feel the most welcome and considered as one of their own. Bernard and Saly (one L) are marvellous hosts. They went out of their way to ensure that my welfare needs were accommodated for. After the first few days when our friendship grew stronger they invited me into their apartment and cooked me breakfast at no considered cost. They were able to source laundry facilities and book me onto some local trips. And as I was moving onto another state in India, they were able to recommend family and friends of theirs that would be able to contribute to the quality of a safe and comfortable trip. My suite at The Dream Catcher Homestay in Cochi, Kerala was big enough to accommodate three guests which was more than ample for a solo or a couple and the cost was more than suitable to my budget. After all for me all I needed was somewhere clean, dry, safe, quiet and comfortable and Dream Catcher was all of that plus Tonnes more. There’s a wonderful roof terrace that I took advantage of for some meditating and reading, there are balcony’s outside of the rooms and the WiFi was very stable and fast. This little Gem in close enough to some very local amenities such convenience store ( nothing to extravagant) but enough to suit my needs and wants. Also, there are some very reasonable priced local restaurants in the vicinity and some very beautiful walking routes towards the harbour where you’ll local people selling locally hand made crafts and souvenirs and street food vendors in abundance. In my travelling experience of many years I find that some people that leave negative reviews are usually expecting to much for their pound or euro or dollar. But if you want something very reasonably price and in a nice and friendly location with very simple amenities then this is the place for you. In all honesty, I was so amazed at the hospitality which I received from this wonder and amazing couple. Thank You both again Bernard and Saly for you wonderful hospitality and and your very kind friendship. I hope to pop up there again sometime again where I have no doubt that I’ll be made most welcome xx. Thank You.

First of all a lovely owner with a good friendship,good hospitality owner and his wife.Clean toilet , clean room very comfortable and very good stay.We book for one night but we extended an another two days and we are very happy to stay with dream catcher family.All for kochian location very close to dream catcher walkable distance.Uncle arranged a traditional kathakali dance program very reasonable rate.Uncle didn't take the profit from the ticket.For the family very good safety and secure.Highly recommended to all coming new people.Thanks a lot Mr.Bernad and saly.

we booked a budget room, The uncle gave us an updated standard room at the same price which we are booked by MMT , The clean toilet . And it's very good and lovely, hospitality ,good care and good balcony and nice roof top and roof garden owner uncle burnad and salie anty. brilliant behaviour and highly recommend to all visit the place for sure.
