The hotel is old with furnishings getting older. The staff courtesy is much lesser, and seems like le meridien front desk staff was more interested in billing than customer service. The pool was good, restaurant staff was courteous and bell boys to security were well behaved. The king bed city facing room was decently sized, but it faces the highway, not the city. The washbasin is outside the bathroom, which is awkward for indian guests, though a little more acceptable in western culture. The room was not well equipped for the number of guests, and the dental kit, slippers and other stuff was provided only after requesting. As mentioned earlier, the furnishings and polish on furniture was worn out, and the bathroom fittings were probably living on extension, packed with white cement. The washroom tiles had too ***y black spots, hinting at the age of establishment. The restaurant was good, only for the staff and ala carte. The spread looks huge, but had minimal options for vegetarians. However, the chef's were courteous enough to make custom food for the kid. From the location perspective, this is not close to tourist spots, but easily accessible from (yet far) from city and airport.
