Our stay at AWA Koh Chang exceeded all of our expectations.
Even before our arrival, I contacted the hotel to ask if it would be possible to have a ground-floor room, as we were traveling with two young children and wanted easy access to the beach. Although we booked the Premium Room category, I knew that these rooms are located on different floors. To our delight, the hotel kindly accommodated our request and assigned us one of the best rooms—right on the ground floor, with direct access to both the swimming pool and the beach. This thoughtful gesture made our family vacation so much more enjoyable, and we truly appreciated the hotel’s attention to detail.
The hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Their smiles and willingness to help made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The resort itself is beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. The rooms were spotless, the beachfront views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. It is a wonderful destination for couples, but especially for families with young children.
The breakfast was another highlight, offering a great variety of delicious food with excellent quality. Every meal we had at the hotel was enjoyable and beautifully prepared.
Thank you to the entire AWA Koh Chang team for creating such a memorable experience. Your genuine hospitality and thoughtful service truly set this resort apart. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return on our next visit to Koh Chang. Highly recommended!

Really worth for stay if u are searching to the hotel worth for ur money. But Breakfast is 6/10 from my perspective.

The hotel and facilities is awesome. Nice swimming pool and we got a room upgrade with good deal during the low season there, room was so big and clean with huge bathtub and staffs at the reception are so nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay and the view from hotel’s restaurant and bar was great sea view! Overall was good! We love it

The hotel is good, and the location is convenient, with shops, excellent cafes, plenty of massage parlors, and bike rentals nearby. The room was spacious, modern, and excellent, with everything needed in both the room and the bathroom. The safe was present and worked perfectly. The 50-meter swimming pool was wonderfully clean, with comfortable sun loungers and daybeds. There was live music some evenings, and a beautiful view of the shore.
Downsides:
1. The breakfast buffet was rather meager compared to typical Thai options at hotels of a similar standard and price. For fruits, there was only watermelon and occasionally papaya. As for vegetables, there weren't even cherry tomatoes. There were no salads at all, and no seafood either. Over the course of a week, fish in batter was served only once.
2. The air conditioning was very noisy, but it cooled the room excellently.

Beautiful, clean hotel. The pool is very large and lovely. Rooms are spacious and clean, with robes that are changed daily. The staff is friendly. Breakfasts are decent; you won't go hungry. The location is good. To the right of the hotel, if you're facing the sea, there's a picturesque beach with many rocks, but still plenty of spots to swim. There are hardly any waves because a reef prevents them from reaching the shore. To the left, you'll find Kai Bae Beach, which is also a nice, large, beautiful beach, just a walk down the street. The massage at this hotel was the best I've had on Koh Chang. I asked for a stronger massage, and that's exactly what I got; I really enjoyed it.
