Best Hotels in Koh Chang, Thailand

Excellent service, and the location of the hotel is handy to pretty much everything you need. The room I had was very clean with a comfortable bed, a nice bathtub and a balcony with pool views. The hotel has 3 swimming pools on its own, one inside the building, one on the rooftop with gorgeous views and the 3rd one is right at the white sand beach by the ocean. (We didn’t see other hotels in the same beach had a swimming pool by the ocean other than KC resort while we were there.) Both ladies from the information desk were vey nice and helpful, one of them speaks perfect English. They helped us book taxis and recommended us some nice tourist sites. It was well worth the cost. Definitely recommend it.

This is an AMAZING clean and high quality oasis on Lonely Beach. First I thought it was a bit removed from the centre of the village, yet then I understood that in the village there is nothing to do for me (M50yo). One can spend 4 days, or even a week not leaving the resort, and that's exactly what I did. First class beach. First class service, the whole warm and efficient hotel team feels more like a family and not a group of employees. Great restaurant and bar, I ate only there. I would recommend an early morning swim at the beach, 5am before dawn, you are surrounded by tiny magical sparkling sea creatures, I was told that they do no harm. A completely surreal experience when they cover your whole body, except the non-hairy parts (like the palms). After that I went for 5 days to a very fancy hotel at White Sands area, but missed Nature Beach Resort all the time.... If you want to be with yourself, meditate, relax, do some soul detox AND keep on working, in a completely safe, warm, clean environment - this is the place. +Top notch Wi-Fi and aircon. I feel that I need more. This place is 7 stars out of 5.

Location is good as it is on the Main Street with local eating places and 7-11 within walking distance. The room is big and the pool is good to swim. The beachfront offers great place to watch the sun set. Room service is fast and food is good. However, wifi is EXTREMELY WEAK and unreliable. Also I asked for a quiet room and upstairs. The hotel gave me a room on the ground floor with elephants walking around in room upstairs and elephants kept moving furniture. Overall, nice location and staff are hospitable but won’t stay here again because many nice resorts around. Will stay in resort around White Sand Beach area.

We loved the pool and the beach was nice. People were nice and polite, the resort was very green and felt very tropical, with many palm trees. Amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from the beach, pool and the bar! On the con side, the food wasn’t great - e.g. undercooked red chicken, too sweet mango rice cake etc. Surprisingly bad food for Thailand. Breakfast was slightly better. Room cleaners didn’t really clean bathtubs, nor replace stuff provided for free in the toilet, collect dirty plates from the room. AC was the central one - pretty loud, and those sensitive wouldn’t find the bed or pillows comfortable. Overall, it was OK, but I wouldn’t go back.

Very nice hotel, unfortunately a little afforded, but still very nice. We had a bungalow right at the neighbouring river, which was beautiful from the location, but was very standardly furnished from the inside and quite afforded. It was also very easy to screw. But this is in the limits, you can see it away. There are 2 beautiful pools in the plant with sufficient lifting areas. Also a free shuttle boat service is offered to the beach and to the Fireflys. However, if you have a bad time you wait for the shuttle to take one back with or miss the return (18:00), you will have to go back about 25 minutes (navi or local knowledge needed). The breakfast buffet is unrecommended, the selection is very small and tastefully not so good, then prefer to breakfast outdoor for small money. The service itself was completely OK and clean the facility is also. From the location a roller is beneficial, but no need, in 15-20 min walking road you also reach the most important. The wire in the rooms is OK, enough for Netflix. But vllt. not so suitable for work.

The location is seafront not beachfront as seen from photos if you bother to do some simple research. However, the resort provides a man made sand area with furniture overlooking the sea. Alternatively, walk a mere 2 minutes down the main road to access White Sands beach. The property enjoys a 7-11, Macro and beer bar complex nearby. It is only a short walk to White Elephant Sports bar and to restaurants, travel agencies and your typical beach shops down along the main road. The seaside complex provides an infinity pool, a long pool beside the bungalow rooms, beach bar and restaurant where all guests partake breakfast. Both the seaside and hillside complexes have a dedicated reception area. I found staff at both were friendly and probably able to assist you if you have done no research about Koh Chang. On this visit I opted for a hillside room as I was seeking overall value. I had read reviews that seaside rooms can be affected by noise at night emanating from the nearby beer bar complex. My room was situated on the east side of the building (3 floors) and was not affected by any noise at night. I even had a water view from my balcony. My room was spacious and clean. The aircon, fridge and TV worked fine. The wardrobe had hangers with some shelving space. A long bench space with drawers to place your things. A small table and two children was useful. Lighting was very good. The bathroom was also modern looking with segregated shower recess. Good hot water with good pressure. The buffet breakfast was excellent. All the possible food options have you covered including an egg station. Enough seating given the number of guests coming and going. Overall, the resort and my room provided me with what I wanted, a comfortable and quiet stay.

We had family visiting Thailand for the first time, and we stayed at both the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort and the sister resort Koh Chang Paradise Resort across the street. If you want to read about my awful experience at the sister resort, Koh Chang Paradise, you can read my other review. Our stay at the Koh Chang Paradise Hill Resort was fun and relaxing. My kids enjoyed the waterpark and the beach. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. Two thumbs up for the staff! The only negative experience I had with a staff member was at breakfast one morning. I had sprained my ankle right before our beach holiday and was hobbling around at breakfast filling up my personal mug with tea because the provided cups were really small and I didn’t want to have to get up multiple times to refill the small cup. A chef got angry at me and told me to not use my personal mug. He raised his voice at me and told me unkindly to not do what I was doing. I explained to him that I had hurt my ankle and did not want to get up multiple times to get more tea. I don’t think he really listened to me because he kept talking to me with an angry voice about not using my cup. Thankfully all the other staff at breakfast have been great. The lifeguards at the pool were great. One of the kids in our group slipped and cut her foot, and they cared for her with proper first aid. I appreciated their professional approach! Cleaning ladies were cheerful and smiled a lot.

Everything was Perfect! This was my first time in Koh Chang and I never seen Rustic style resort before.The Front desk staff were very nice, warm welcome,polite and helpful. Room was very clean,big and beautiful. We went as a couple and we loved the Room's desing. Spa was very comfort and staff were really nice and friendly,loved them. F&B staff were very nice ,but for my personal thinking,the taste of food not good.Dinner and Breakfast were so so. From what i have said,I loved this resort so much.It was a really good resort where you would like to go! Believe me!

Kho Chang is a beautiful island covered with trees, mountains and waterfalls. There are perfect beaches on its western shore. On one of these is Coconut Beach Resort. It's scale and architecture suit this island. Some larger hotels there might as well be in overdeveloped cities. Accommodation is in clusters of two-story buildings innThai style, grouped around a beautiful swimming pool and tropical gardens. There are trees on the beach with hanging swings and womb chairs. The restaurant has tables at the edge of the beach. The Thai food is delicious - seafood in red curry, whole fish simmering at your table, grilled prawns - and there are cocktails to complete the holiday treat. Service is friendly and efficient.

This hotel is incredibly beautiful - beautiful nature, convenience and comfort, privacy. To fully experience the atmosphere, it is best to take a large Deluxe room with a panoramic floor-to-ceiling window and a balcony. The views of the mountains and river are stunning, especially at sunset. We lived here for 12 days and didn’t want to leave, and of course, we definitely want to come back. - Food - the most beautiful breakfasts of my life, when the transparent waves of the morning surf almost touch your table. And of course very tasty! There are scrambled eggs and an omelet, several types of muesli and cereal, two types of bread, pancakes, yogurt, watermelon, papaya, pineapples, two meat dishes with vegetables (usually chicken and pork, sometimes beef), a potato dish, two types of rice, noodles, hot bacon and sausage, cold cheese and sausage, two types of soup, fresh vegetables - cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce, olives. And of course delicious coffee from the machine! There is also a happy hour from 16 to 18, when you can buy two cocktails for the price of one and enjoy the sunset. Dinners are also very tasty (the price is high, as on the whole island by the sea, if you want half the price, there are plenty of places on the side of the road) - The area is very large and, in comparison with the rest of the island, very well-groomed, especially in the beach area with the villas. They transport you along it and to the store using hotel cars without any problems, you don’t have to wait much, but it’s better to take a bike and ride around the entire island yourself. - The Deluxe room is very beautiful and stylish, the furniture is quite new, but in some places it has already been damaged by sloppy people. Huge bathroom, very comfortable. The bed is soft and comfortable. - Cleaning and change of towels every day. Change the bed every few days. The bed linen smells very nice. - Water - 2 bottles of 0.5 liters per room. This is not enough for the daily consumption rate and you need to buy your own water. But since the hotel transports you to the store, this is not a problem. - The Internet is rather weak for work and often cuts out. For relaxation - not needed at all. Here you want to enjoy nature and the sea. - Beaches - there are several within walking distance. Their depth depends on the tide; it is better to look at the tide chart. And beauty depends on the direction of the wind. In the calm there is very beautiful and clean water on all nearby beaches. But the most beautiful beach is Long Beach in the eastern part of the island; from the hotel it takes about 1 hour to get there by bike. And it’s better in the morning; there are practically no people there until 10 am.
