The downside is that right next to the hotel buildings there is a road (the main circular road on the island) and from 5 am the noise of passing cars and mopeds can be clearly heard. The hotel has its own restaurant with average prices, but 150 meters on the beach there is a good inexpensive Thai kitchen (rice 100 baht, tomyam 150 baht) we ate there. The nearest store is 5 minutes by tuktuk, 50-100 baht per person, but only open in the evening. To 7-11 minutes 20 go to Ban Bao. The hotel is cosmetically in poor condition, BUT everything we needed was in working order. Service - cleaned every day, linen every other day. Overall ok. The room is very good, clean, cool air conditioning, next to the sea. In the room where we slept, the pool lights couldn't be turned off. We had to inform the staff to turn them off for us. The downside was that when we went to stay there was a group seminar so we couldn't order food to eat. It was quite difficult for us. People who go to stay must go out to eat on their own.
