Lazy Day the Resort

Room is very comfortable and clean, beach and area is peaceful. Good breakfast with choice. Convenience to go any places by resort-taxi. Good information support by the front. for activities, places for fun activities; snorkeling, good scenery

The best parts are the courtesy and the staff and breakfast. Property and room are well maintained and super clean. Food is a little but pricy but with 10%discount for hotel guests. Kayak is free of charge which is so good for us as a family. Happy experience with Lazy Day resort. Thank you. Hope we can come back again

I got my best holiday of this year from chilling at Lazy Day. The room is clean, the food is tasty, the staff is friendly. Also you can enjoy your peaceful with some nice activities here. And one more important thing, the staff is very honest as I didnt know my ring is fall on the floor, staff who made up my room found it and put it on the table. 🥰 Please try “Coconut milk ice-cream” (i-tim-ka-ti) , really recommended.

Overall we had a great stay @ Lazy Day. Pros: Nice, bright and clean bungalows w fabulous view of the ocean Great and generous breakfast choices Unlimited filtered water Super friendly and helpful staff Complimentary shuttle to and from pier Taxi service provided by hotel. 60TB per person anywhere on island Cons WiFi weak or non existent in bungalows, especially those further away from reception When the resort was full the WiFi could not handle the load anywhere. No pool to cool off Difficult to swim in ocean bc of sharp rocks/reef and very shallow water. We never got deeper than our knees despite walking a way out. A guest had a toxic jelly fish surround her leg close to shore. Her leg immediately turned purple and swelled. She had to be rushed to the island clinic. Relatively clean beach in front of hotel, but 5 mins up beach was littered in plastic and trash (not hotel’s fault of course but such a bummer not to be able to take morning sunrise walks on the beach). Lots of trash floating in the water. Would be nice if the beach was cleaned more and if plastic was better managed on the island. A little remote. You will need to rent a golf cart or moped to get around. Suggestion to hotel: do not change the bedding and towels unless a guest requests this. The current default is to change every day. This is unnecessary and bad for the environment.

Everything was like a dream! It was my fiancée birthday and all members of staff were just incredible. They decorated the room and even made a birthday cake for her. Private beach just 5 steps away, kayak & snorkeling for free! Delicious breakfast and affordable scooter hire for a whole day! Massage and Spa are also amazing. I wish I stayed there forever.

Staff was a 10/10 since the pick-up at the pier. It was lovely to stay at Lazy Day, it is a beautiful location and it is super relaxing. The views from bed & bathroom were a DREAM. I enjoyed dinner at the little cabins front-row, and i had the best Massaman Curry Ever. (Chef’s special dish!) Would come back! I still have the massage to try. Good for solo, couple and family travellers

A nice stay with friendly and service minded staff. Place has a few years but it’s kept clean and things like fridge and AC’s worked well. Renting a scooter for the day at 300THB made the whole island accessible for us.
