Excellent location! Haad Yao is good! Good place for staying!

Hotel is huge but ugly and dated. Room was specious. Higher level floors have a very nice view of sea on one side, and a view of hills on the other, but there was no elevator so going up and down was kind of pain. Pool was in unswimable condition. Shower-head had tiny holes, not enough for a decent shower, had to take it out. No hot water. Balcony door was broken and very difficult to operate. Disappointing overall.

The place has great views with great service & very clean. The problem is its positioning & lack of trees. On the side of a hill it faces the hot sun all day & with no tree protection is melting every afternoon. The pool was green & murky when I stayed.

TV and fridge didn't work but overall very good for the price

The location of the hotel is good, there are shops, massage parlors, and cafes nearby, but it is far from the main action, where the Full Moon Party takes place, almost an hour by bike. The hotel itself is old, tired, the smell in the rooms is not very pleasant, musty, a bit dirty, it looks better in the photo. They tried to put us in a room with a wall view with single beds, although the reservation specified a double bed. After much arguing, we were finally moved to a room of the reserved category. I wouldn't choose this hotel for the second time!

Good location, next to the beach, has a bar, the room is not very clean. Having to walk up the building is tiring. Got a room upgrade to a sea view, beautiful view, good service staff.

The service staff is very good. The most impressive was the hotel staff. Clean room, good view Cheap room but a million-dollar view Will I go again this time?

Everything top wifi could be better

I know the hotel wont reply to this review, as they haven't replied to any others. Upon arrival, we were told by reception that they never received our booking but when i showed them confirmation, they said they just received the email but the room we booked was not available until the next day so we had to stay in another room which was not as nice. The hotel needs to look deeply at their staff, they are rude, unhelpful and never smile. It is such a shame as the hotel is in a perfect position but visitors dont appear to want to eat or drink there. Also, be aware that if you ask reception to arrange transfer back to the ferry, they will leave you waiting for half hour. I will definitely return to Haad Yao but not this hotel
