Excellent hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are cleaned daily, and the cottages have large verandas, making it difficult to sit comfortably outside in the evening. The large pool with well-maintained grounds is a special plus!

Great beach for snorkeling. When you go out to the beach, you need to go to the right towards the spit that connects the beach with a small island. Walk approximately to the spit, then into the water and swim straight from the shore for about 5-7 minutes, then the corals begin, it is very beautiful in good weather, when it is not very windy and the water is clear. The hotel itself is good, large and comfortable rooms by the pool (there are also houses closer to the bar, which are also good, but the rooms are smaller). Nice clean pool with a depth of 1.5 meters, there is a shallow area for children. There is a safe and kettle in the room. In terms of infrastructure: in October 2023, almost everything nearby is closed until the evening. They said that it was low season, there would be more tourists, they would open earlier. In 2020, there was a FamilyMart nearby, now a local supermarket with unclear opening hours, there is little you can buy, they don’t sell fruit nearby. The hotel restaurant is good, the staff is excellent.

We have just returned to Wangsai Resort for the fourth time. It really is an oasis in what can be a very busy area particularly at the weekends. We had a delux poolside bungalow which was large, airy and spacious. Comfortable bed and good supply of towels etc. The staff were excellent and helpful. A good basic English breakfast at the restaurant was available for 150 baht. Unfortunately, the pool was a bit of a challenge with the number of guests staying there. There are only ten sun beds, the covers of which are starting to tear. There are four beanbags of which only one remained with a blue cover and only ONE umbrella! We estimate that there are 25 bungalows, some of which are let to three people which makes a big demand on the pool at busy times.

Beautiful resort, attentive staff and fantastic beach. This place is immaculate with a beautiful pool and great food. The beach restaurant is lovely and has a great vibe. The staff take orders quickly but be prepared for very slow food service at busy times. No sun loungers on the beach but plenty of areas to find shade. Great snorkelling and peaceful vibe. The hotel next door Kohma beach resort was far busier so we were very glad we picked this one. Highly recommended.
