Beyond the Blue Horizon Boutique Bungalows

This is a small, intimate resort and beautifully maintained. Pros: The garden - design and maintenance are wonderful. We had a great balcony with ocean view. The host and staff are lovely and accommodating. This would suit a couple wanting a quieter more personal stay. Cons: You may need to hire bikes if wanting to eat out at different places, and we found the airconditioner struggled to cool the room. No fault of the resort (obviously!) but the beach isnt great, particulary at low tide. If you are really into ocean swimming this may not be the place for you. But if you want a secluded, lounge by the pool in a small, clean resort then this is the place.

We spent our honeymoon there and it was amazing. The boss Emanuele and his staff is very nice and caring. The staff was very friendly and the bungalow very clean. The restaurant has Italian und Thai food - the best Italian food we have eaten besides in Italy - WOW! Breakfast is included and was served next to the pool area - very nice.The view from our sea view bungalow was a highlight!!! We definetly recommend this awesome resort and hope we will be back again :)

We had a wonderful 5 night stay @ Beyond Blue Horizon . Accomodation was fantastic . Clean rooms Great shower clean towels .Room was very quiet and had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and fresh . I miss my amazing pancakes and coffee and all the food we ate from our A La Carte breakfast menu. The service and food was outstanding. The Manager was very helpful n very friendly . He helped us with hiring a motor bike, transport to the pier and laundry. And So lovely to just have a chat with him. Much appreciated :) Views from our room were fantastic as was the music and calming location of the restaurant. Gardens are beautiful and outstanding . Will definitely return to this wonderful paradise Thank you all :)

This was our second holiday to Beyond The Blue Horizon. We went 6 years ago and had one of the best holidays of our lives. It's a small boutique hotel with individual bungalows and we booked Room 8, the one we had last time. It's a sea-facing room with lovely decking where you can sit and enjoy the wonderful sunsets with a nice, cold beer. The room itself was clean, comfy and cool (great air-con!). I don't like to be as hot as Mr. C so good air conditioning is vital for me. The meals were outstanding and breakfasts had plenty of choice too. The staff couldn't do enough for you and were so lovely and smiley all the time. A special mention for Lek (who we met last time too), one of the staff members who is simply the friendliest, kindest, nicest, happiest member of hotel staff we have ever come across. He organised a scooter for us twice and sorted our washing out for us at the end of the hotel too. He had plenty of useful tips about where to visit etc. in the area as did Emmanuel, the hotel manager. The hotel is on a quiet beach, fewer bars than last time but as with all hotels, the area is still playing catch-up from the pandemic. The sea is safe and shallow which is great if you have little ones and if you're into yoga (we're not) then there's a yoga place next door to Beyond the Blue Horizon. The pool was clean, a good temperature and was lovely to cool down in. The fact that the staff were only a stones-throw away with perfect cocktails made it a perfect place to relax. The hotel and beach on Koh Phangan is without doubt our favourite 'place' in the world and we can't wait to get back.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Rooms beautiful and nice relaxing pool area. Breakfast choice was brilliant and catered for everyone and set you up for the whole day. The beach was quite difficult to access due to lots of rocks and steps down to the hotel make it difficult if less mobile. However the hotel make people aware of this and it didn’t spoil our stay. Nice bars and restaurants nearby although the walk isn’t very scenic. We Would definitely return.

I’ve never written a trip advisor review of a hotel but here I felt like I had to share. We were welcomed by the manager who was more than friendly and helpful to get a taxi, scooter rental, or any other questions. His staff were smiling everyday and happy to help. The rooms and resort were clean. The resort was in a Great location to the most beautiful beaches. The meals were phenomenal. We were on this island for 5 nights with a scooter and spent a majority of the time at this resort because we didn’t want to leave ! If you are there to relax, enjoy the view and eat good food, this is the place to go.
