The hotel is clean, nice sea view and spacious, but it’s very secluded with not many restaurants and shops nearby. You have to catch a taxi to go to the main part of town where you’ll get everything you need and want. However , it’s a 10min drive but they’ll charge you 300 baht which is ridiculous 😒. Front desk lady is nice, but no one is there to help you in the late hours. Overall, okay experience.

A songthaew ride to Chaweng Beach costs 130 to 150 baht. Although it is not impossible to walk there, there are many slopes and the sidewalks are not well maintained, making it dangerous if you are bringing children with you. The beach is right in front of you, but it's not sandy so you can't go in and swim. It is made of concrete like a port. The front staff was kind.
