The Stay Chaweng Beach Resort
"This hotel from the starters fantastic! Awesome customer service and very friendly and helpful! Nothing was to much trouble also gave great recommendations on were to eat and go! Rooms were spotless although on the smaller sideburns enough space for 2 people and having the balcony was a great addition. Breakfast was not a massive variety but what they had was excellent. Location was right in the middle of Chaweng and could not have been a more central location. Would definitely recommend The Stay to any body! Also great view just to chill and have a smoke overlooking the ocean"
First Residence Hotel
"Well managed, friendly front desk, especially in the morning. Great value for stay. Really enjoyed the breakfast."
Samui Beach Hostel
"We stayed here and there is no electricity for the whole day, no water at all, everything sucks. The staff told us that the electrocity maintenance for 2 hours but thats ********. The whole day without electricity. Also the floor very oily like…. I dont want to stay here anymore"
Coral Cliff Beach Resort Samui
"The service and the facilities were quite good. Its easy to go to Chaweng by tuktuk, only takes 10-12 mins."

Lamoon Lamai Residence & Guesthouse
"Great hotel, around a 5 minute walk from the centre and the beach. We travelled as a couple and found the hotel one of our favourites after 1 month in Thailand. Would highly recommend great value for money"
Utopia Resort
"On the water. It’s an amazing deal for the price. Staff super friendly and actually sit down with you and help you with your tours. Food is decent. Very clean. Basic room not luxury. Close to Lamai Night Market and 7-11 and other shops."
Lamai Bayview Boutique Resort
"Lovely view from the hotel balcony of the sea. Lamai is a lovely place. Food in hotel was good."
Bhundhari Resort & Villas Samui
"This is a case when a picture in Internet and reality are 2 different things. This is an old, smelly hotel which need to be destroyed and built new one. The way to the beach and beach itself were ugly and dangerous. There are no shops nearby. The maximum price for this hotel should be $50. Staff therefore was very friendly and helpful, as always."
Napasai Samui Residence
"Great place, very nice staff, super helpful will definitely come back"
Fair House Villas & Spa, Koh Samui
"What a fantastic place! We felt like we were in paradise throughout our entire stay. The pool is lovely, the staff are super friendly, and the cottage was very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The only minor drawback was the bed, which was very hard – but this definitely doesn't outweigh all the benefits of this place."
Sandalwood Luxury Villa Resort
"Rated location a 5/5, not because it is just a doorstep away from popular night markets, or just beside a beach, or the steep slope up to the villa, but because of the amazing view point it provides and the quiet sanctuary we are looking for in a retreat! The resort does offer free shuttles to areas in coral cove and (our favourite) crystal bay, which is great. Service (receptionist through WhatsApp, and drivers, cleaning) was very prompt and fuss free. Room was spacious and comfortable, facilities (eg bathroom, jacuzzi) were clean. Will definitely visit again! Thanks for making our retreat an enjoyable one."
The Library
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, including a fitness center. Other perks at this hotel include complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and babysitting (surcharge).
Chaweng Noi Pool Villa
"Close to beach, 20 minutes from airpor, plenty of restaurants close by. The hotel is going through a renovation stage, one floor at a time. We all stayed in a delux pool villa each, which was spacious with a huge bedroom and lounge area. Unfortunately, the bathroom in each villa are a huge accident to happen. They were bath/shower bathrooms which were very dangerous. The shower heads were outdated, flimsy and sprayed water everywhere, making the floors very wet and dangerous. We hope with their renovations that they will have a simple walk in shower with a shower head fixed to wall or roof with the option of a movable shower head attached to a fixed rod for younger children. Definitely NO BATH! We would all stay there in an instantly in the future, as the staff there are absolutely incredible. They couldn’t do enough for us. The excellent front desk staff organised trips for us at exceptional pricing and the kitchen staff were fantastic people too."
The Flow Samui Beach Resort
"Magnificent hotel! If we could move in there permanently, we'd do it without a second thought. Beautiful views, fresh renovation, incredibly welcoming staff, and delicious, varied breakfasts, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It felt like living in an episode of 'The White Lotus.' You couldn't hear the road, you couldn't hear the neighbors, and the pools were always empty and clean — a feeling of complete relaxation and luxury. We definitely recommend it!"
Khun Chaweng Resort
"Close to bars, restaurants and shops. Beach within 5 minutes walk. Adequate pool but could do with more sun lounges. Booked standard double room which was basic. Cleaned daily. Staff friendly. Was noise from aircraft flying."
MM Hill Koh Samui Hotel
"Very Good."
The Bay Samui
"A perfect place with direct access to the beach"
Crystal Lamai Hotel
"The good thing about the hotel is that it is relatively quiet. The pool was nice. The gym was very barebone, however, with almost no equipment inside. It is not located on the beach, you need to walk about 10 minutes, which is not bad. However, there is no place for you to sit on the beach as almost everywhere is occupied by bars or beach front resorts. The main problem I found with the hotel is its surrounding and its location. The hotel is not located at the lively market which is much further away and difficult to access by walking due to heavy traffic (I had to go to the beach every day and walk along the shore). I really struggled to find good food near the hotel and only had an ice cream for lunch. Also the hotel is located quite far from almost all attractions in Lamai aside from the beach, such as Guan-Yu shrine, red temple, Hin Ta Hin Yai, etc., and the taxi is very costly here. Also if you want to go to Chaweng beach it's almost 400 baht by taxi. I would recommend this hotel provided you have your own mode of transportation."
The Briza Beach Resort, Samui
"Nice resort but can do with some reservations. Amenities can be improved too as what is offered is below its own concept standards. Only 2 bath towels provided, adding hand or face towels would be good. No pool towels in the plunge pool room, having it would be nice. Umbrella is damaged so can’t use it properly, room maid should check these things. Only 2 pillows provided, having 4 pillows would be nice so each person can have 2 pillows for comfort sleeping. Rooms with Plunge pool should have its own on/off switch for guests to operate instead of having to call reception to turn it on every time we need to use it. The water flow in the bathroom shower and wash basin is not consistently flowing with pressure, it low and high water pressure."
Samui Bayview Resort & Spa
"Excellent hotel! The staff were pleasant and very helpful! We will definitely be back!"
