Anonymous UserThis place is a little piece of paradise. Away from the hustle and bustle and is quiet and calm. The beach is a few steps away. Although it’s not a swimming or tanning beach, you can make the most of your time there. I found a quiet spot on the beach and still enjoyed every second of it. The staff were all so friendly and go out of their way to help you and meet your needs. The breakfast was lovely! A variety of choices, that fill you up for the day of adventure ahead. The villa itself is large and spacious. The pool is just enough to cool off after a hot time on the beach. I will definitely be back when I’m in Samui again!

We enjoyed our stay from 29th Dec to 01 January 2026 at the Sea View Room which is located on the beach. Had a wonderful stay with unobstructed sea view and got used to the humming sound of sea. We enjoyed the nice breakfast and dinner during our stay. Breakfast spread was delicious, reasonably variant. The resort is 5 minutes walk from Lamai night market and necessities shop like Seven Eleven is just 2 minutes walk. The staff were quite nice and the service was very prompt. The food prices are very reasonable. The room was very clean and hygienic. We will remember our stay for a long time and thank the hotel staffs for their hospitality.

NaMa7The hotel is very old. There's almost no grounds. It consists of a main building and bungalows with a bit of greenery. The pool smelled strongly of chlorine, so we didn't go in. It's too small for swimming anyway.
Room: Partially renovated with a huge, modern TV. However, the bathroom is long overdue for a renovation – the shower is rusty, the faucets are terrible, and the shower curtain has turned yellow at the bottom from rust! The balcony is nice, but the neighbors are so close it feels uncomfortable.
The breakfast was good, with plenty of options.
The sea, though, is wonderful! The entry is very quick, the water is clear, and the jet skis aren't directly in front of the hotel.
Cafes and shops are right outside the exit. Lotus Supermarket is about 700 meters away; they have a good and inexpensive food court, and the prices in the supermarket are the cheapest.

Excellent vacation at a great hotel. The sand on the beach is fine, like powder. The attentive hotel staff set up sun loungers, and there are enough for everyone. It's only 30 meters from the room to the beach. We didn't even bother with slippers. Each bungalow has its own foot wash tap. Breakfast is served by the sea. The menu varies (but it's not a buffet). There's a central store a 5-minute walk away, and a nightclub nearby.

Well. This place is just to a beach club: we could have guessed it won’t be quiet… but to add up the guest were generally very noisy and disrespectful. Just don’t book there if you want peaceful nights.. or bring solid earplugs. Also, the showers are really bad in the rooms ! Still useable but not a great experience.

I am delighted! Nice, cozy place. The staff is super polite, like in a luxury hotel. There is a swimming pool. The room was very comfortable, smelled nice. The only thing was that there was an unpleasant strange smell in the bathroom. And maybe the room could be painted a little. And I was a little upset that they changed the roofs, they are not like in the photo in the description, I really like this natural design. There is a refrigerator, umbrella, water, air conditioning. The beach is not far away. I was very pleased. I recommend!

Stayed one night here and the location of the hotel was why we chose the hotel in the first place. It had great location to the main street with shops, bars and restaurants all in walking distance from our room. Right by the beach with lounge style sun beds, bar and restaurant beside a small pool area. They also had cool plunge pools.
We left early in the morning so didn’t have time to try their breakfast but they had friendly service in the reception from check-in to check-out.
Quite simple rooms but with everything you need, lived in attached styled bungalows with the entrance from the resorts garden, with a small terrace which was nice.

tj17This hotel was an okay place to stay, the bed was comfy and the location is alright. The shower pressure isn't the best and there aren't any curtains. But for the price in koh samui it is good. Picture is from central samui mall.

DokStefPleasant Stay with Excellent Service in Chaweng
I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome.
The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng.
The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it.
Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.

Good morning! I'm staying at this hotel from February 2nd to February 8th. The location is simply superb! 👌 Breakfasts are standard, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby if you need coffee or sandwiches. However, the hotel itself is completely rundown!!! The bedding and towels are in terrible condition! If you appreciate comfort, then this is definitely not the place for you. All the plumbing is broken, and the water in the shower doesn't drain!
