My recent stay at Eldor’s villa in Koh Samui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Eldor’s professionalism and warmth made us feel instantly welcome. He arranged a seamless airport transfer, ensuring we arrived safely at the villa without any hassle. Upon arrival, Eldor greeted us with genuine hospitality, even helping with our luggage.
The villa itself was **huge and fully equipped**—spacious, immaculate, and beautifully designed. We stayed in the **Honeymoon Villa** on the second floor, which offered breathtaking views and total privacy. Eldor took the time to thoroughly explain every facility in the villa, including the **fully functional kitchen** with a microwave, stovetop, and other cooking essentials—perfect for preparing meals at home. The attention to detail was impressive: complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes), fresh towels, and even pool towels were provided.
The highlight was undoubtedly the **private infinity pool**—large, clean, and overlooking the sea. Whether swimming at sunrise or under the stars, the pool was pure bliss, with no disturbances and complete seclusion. The villa’s air conditioning was powerful (a lifesaver in the tropical heat!), and the floor-to-ceiling glass doors in the living room allowed us to admire the pool and ocean views while lounging indoors.
What amazed me most was the **flawless cleanliness**—not a single insect in sight! The entire property was meticulously maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Eldor’s villa surpassed even high-end chain hotels in terms of quality, privacy, and value for money.
Without a doubt, this was my **best villa experience ever**, and I’ll enthusiastically recommend it to friends.

JJustin Ho FungMy time at Sand Sea Beach Resort was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the incredible hospitality and attention to detail. While there was a small mix-up on the first day—I was placed in a sea-view room instead of the beachfront room I’d booked—the staff promptly corrected the error the next day. Though I wish the transition had been seamless, the rooms were equally priced, and the team handled the situation professionally.
Beyond that, the service here is outstanding. The staff’s thoughtfulness surpassed even my experiences at five-star hotels—they genuinely care about guest comfort. One evening when I stayed offsite, they even reached out via WhatsApp to check on me! I regret not catching the names of the help desk team, as they were all exceptional.
As for the beachfront room, it was breathtaking. Waking up to floor-to-ceiling views of the ocean felt like a dream. The resort’s atmosphere, combined with the staff’s warmth, made this a memorable stay.
Minor rooming issue aside, I highly recommend Sand Sea Beach Resort. They’re clearly dedicated to excellence, and I’d gladly return. A bright future awaits this team!

AAnonymous UserActually, I was really impressed with many things, such as the excellent services from all the staff, the peaceful and private atmosphere, and the beautiful accommodations. The view from my room (Executive Suite Oceanfront) was stunning both in the morning and evening. It made me feel like I was getting my money's worth and that I made the right choice over a major 5-star hotel. Even though there was no TV or other entertainments, I was able to fully immerse myself in the accommodations and atmosphere.
Then, the last night here, I discovered a cockroach in the bathroom at night (around 10 PM). At that time, there were no staff were available to help me (there’s no in room telephone for any emergency call). So I had to remove the cockroach out of my room myself. When I notified the staff via Line, all I received was an apology and a thank you for letting me know.
When I woke up in the morning, everyone acted as if nothing had happened (there were actually lizards, but that was acceptable and understandable for me).
I didn't expect any major responsibility, but compared to hotels with rooms as expensive as 5-stars, I think cockroaches in the rooms are absolutely unacceptable. I think the hotel should handle customer feelings better. The hotel manager or management should be aware of this and have a better approach to handling customer feelings.

However, the breakfast selection is limited to just fruits, yoghurt and coffee, which might be insufficient for some travelers. Additionally, while the central location provides easy access to many points of interest, exploring the broader island is recommended, and due to high taxi fares, renting a bike is a more cost-effective option. Overall, Hotel Ploen is a good choice for travelers seeking a central location and easy access to Chaweng's nightlife and beach scene.

MmiSs JM🏨This hotel has an amazing view if you book the “sea view room”. However, here’s what you should know: ⬇️
1. The room smelt so bad that you can’t even breath properly (I got the sea view room for me and my daughter with twin beds).
The bad smell wouldn’t disappear even if you turn the AC on.
2. You won’t be able to open the sliding door to get fresh air because the bugs will come in your room.
3. We stayed over night and I have found a total of 6 centipedes crawling everywhere (floor, ceilings, patio, under the blanket, bathtub, etc.) Mosquitoes, flies and other bugs are everywhere in the bathroom with spider web. My daughter was scared to death. 😭
4. Our room was located on -4 level without elevator (carrying 2 big luggages by myself back and forth of their steep stairs) was a nightmare.
5. The breakfast didn’t have much choice for food.
6. We ordered lunch at their restaurant and it took forever (almost an hour) to arrive. Mind you, I only ordered satay chicken and steamed rice. 🙄
7. The location of the hotel is on top of the hill, going to a nearby beach or places to shop needs to take a taxi or grab.
☑️On a good note, they have infinity pools for you to enjoy a spectacular view will relaxing and sipping your cocktail.
Do I recommend this hotel? It’s your choice.
Will I come back and stay at this place again? Honestly, no.

Piak provided exceptional service from the minute we got to the hotel to the minute we left. He assisted us with all our queries. Lin also provided a very good service and explanation to get around the city. Will definitely recommend

AAnonymous UserOverall, I really enjoyed my stay. The pool is new. Breakfasts were excellent and very filling. The location is ideal for amenities – currency exchange, shops, cafes, and parking are all close by.
The rooms are average, with high ceilings, and some have sea views. The beds are medium-firm. The AC sometimes struggles during the day, so the room can get a bit warm. The TV has YouTube, and the in-room Wi-Fi is excellent.
The staff are calm and unobtrusive. The beach has soft sand, but swimming directly in front of the hotel isn't possible due to shallows and pebbles. For good swimming, you'll need to walk about 5-7 minutes to the right of the hotel, towards the All Resort hotel. In July, Chaweng Beach has no waves, and high tide is after 4 PM, making it perfect for kids.

I live in a villa overlooking the sea ⛵. Gorgeous view from the terrace and even from the room.
Of course it's a little expensive. The hotel is old. They are trying to be seen. Renovations are underway in some of the houses. There is also construction in the neighboring area. A little noisy, but the view of the sea covers everything. Nice pool. Everything is within walking distance, such as cafes, restaurants, many spa salons, exchange offices (not a very favorable rate, the best exchange office is near the entrance to the central beach, blue), breakfasts and the menu in the restaurant is not large, but you can choose if you don’t want to go out in the heat outside. The room is clean and cleaned.
Nearby there is a super market and a fruit stand!!! The beach is gorgeous, there are no people, it’s calm. I recommend!!! There are also inexpensive rooms and villas with garden views.

I recently stayed at Lotus Friendly Hotel in Chaweng with my wife and baby. The hotel boasts cleanliness and spaciousness, with daily room cleaning ensuring a comfortable stay throughout. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with valuable information.
One of the highlights of our stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered delicious Mediterranean-style cuisine. The restaurant staff were exceptional, making our dining experience truly memorable. They were also incredibly friendly and accommodating towards our baby, which made us feel even more welcome.
The hotel's location was convenient, with a Seven Eleven and several restaurants nearby, making it easy to access essentials and dining options. Additionally, the beach was just a 2-minute walk away, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful coastline effortlessly. While the city center was a bit further, a 20-minute walk provided an opportunity to explore more of Chaweng.
The only minor downside was the noise at night, which is perhaps typical of the vibrant atmosphere in Chaweng. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall experience, as the hotel's other amenities and exceptional service more than made up for it.
Overall, I highly recommend Lotus Friendly Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Chaweng. The combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, excellent service, and convenient location makes it a top choice for travelers. We look forward to returning in the future.

The above part of the room, such as the table top, the bedside will not be cleaned as long as the air conditioner is empty. Breathing room found a worm two big spiders toilet floor ant hotel is the most terrible is breakfast I have never seen so many flies breakfast from small to large, some of the open-side food at the poolside is not covered with plastic wrap and flies directly You have to keep looking at your own dish, or you have to keep an eye on your own dish. Otherwise, the sliced bread is placed on a shelf against the wall. It is easy to see that the ants are too disgusting to run. There are many flies in the room. The ants are too collapsed. There are only one or two waiters in the room. There is no smile. No smile may be because they are more tired.
