If I had read or taken notice of some of the reviews I may have run a mile. I’m so glad I didn’t this place is in my eyes a gem and a great find. If you want to find fault I guess you can but for what you pay and what you get in my eyes it’s heavenly. I had room 505. Sleeps 3. It had air con . A little louder than some but I slept like a baby. The mattress was just how I like them, firm. Comfortable pillows. The shower gives enough water to have a shower but it’s not a power shower. Yes it’s little like glamping but that’s its charm. I had most of my meals on the beach and didn’t have a bad meal. All very nice food. The owner is lovely Thai gentleman who knows everything about everything re ko Samui and he loves to share. He speaks good English. I could easily spend a month here and go nowhere else as the beach is just glorious. Shallow at high tide and very safe bathing in glorious blue water with white sand beach. All staff are very kind and give lovely service. In summary if your looking to moan you can, if your looking to be positive and enjoy traditional Thai hospitality at an incredible price I highly recommend this place. It’s peaceful and idyllic. If you want night life it’s all available a short walk away. As is Central Shopping Mall. I will be back next year.

Yes. Worst hotel ever.” Why?”you ask? Let me count the ways… But I will start with the pros: *Location is great. It’s right on a quieter part of Chaweng Beach *The King bed, although actually two twin beds pushed together, was surprisingly comfy. *Relatively cheap. Ummmm. That’s it. Really. Cons: The rooms are disgusting. Not just poorly maintained, if at all, but NOT CLEAN. I actually went to the store and got cleaning products and cleaned the room. *When begrudging ‘cleaning’ the room they will throw the sheets on the floor and remake the bed with those same sheets. *Look at the photos. I don’t think they have ever bought new sheets. They patch and patch them over and over. *The bed was so bad that when my friend crashed, she insisted on sleeping on a towel after We pulled down the sheets. *They will only give you 2 towels and are stingy on the toilet paper. * The air conditioner made a clickity clackity sound that they could never fix. *The hose to the toilet leaked so badly that I needed to use my two towels and they were completely soaked. To their defense after the third failed fix and 5 days, they got a new hose. And it eventually stopped leaking. * They never cleaned soap scum off of shower walls or glass, never cleaned a mirror, Hardly cleaned the sink. *They never fixed the loose toilet seat, nor thoroughly cleaned it for that matter! *Look at the photo- what is that white stuff on the blue wall? Wait. No. I don’t want to know. *There were blood stains on the wall by the bed. *They obviously have never heard of WD-40 because you could throw your back out trying to open the sliding glass doors. *The shower backed up and instead of using a snake, 3 chamber maids tried using a stick (or broom handle) to push the clog . The smell from the backed up water was so bad that I left the room. They DID eventually fix the shower and even bought a new shower head. Shocker! *Holes in the screens and sliding doors that had gaps = being eaten alive by. ***Nasty nasty people who own the place as well as the people who work there at the front desk or pretend to clean the rooms. One day I made the mistake of offering some suggestions nicely to the owner about what a shame it was that they were not maintaining the property given its stellar location and he yelled at me to “go stay somewhere else!!”. From that point forward he would just yell at me at any opportunity be it 6AM or 6 PM. So much for making suggestions for improvement. Why did I continue to stay here on and off ? I was in Samui for 6 weeks, my friend had prepaid for a few months, It was the High season, there were practically no rooms available anywhere and yes, it was RELATIVELY cheap. (About 1000 BHT) When I was able to get a room at the next hotel over, I would leave my friend at Marine and get my own, clean room at OP (1,300-1,800 BHT) Please GO to OP BUNGALOW, right next door for a big step up Super sweet owner, nicer rooms, great food.

Good value. We paid less than 500 thb per room. Rooms we spacious enough. A bit out dated and could use renovation. Shower and bathroom especially. Aircon and refigirator a bit noisy and you can hear people talking and walking by but quiet enough. But with this price - no complaints. Location is great by the beach and very close to Chaweng main road but still you can't hear the party noise from the street. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. The resort has its own restaurant which was good.

Very friendly and helpful staff/workers, they are very sweet and the guy serving the food is super sweet! Got a lot of tips of what to do here and help booking it. The food is super good, 10/10. And also very good fruit shakes. Would recommend eating here even if you don’t live here. Also free sunbathing chairs. However if you wanna book a bungalow we would recommend to take one with ac because we booked one with only fan, and it’s too warm. Otherwise you get what you pay for.

We had a cheap standard bungalow with AC. Room is a bit dirty. Nobody came to clean during the stay. Great location as it is right on the beach and close to town. staff very helpful. Loungers on the beach are free. We were able to book and pay for the ferry on site. Perfectly satisfactory for backpackers if you accept some dirt in the bungalow for a very good price.

Just really not clean. Hotel not hygienic at all, as far as I know, room has not been cleaned since the previous visit. Received two rooms but not satisfied with either. Money back was not an option, paying extra for a more luxurious room was an option, it would be cleaner…

Great experience at this hotel. We only stayed one night but the bungalow with everyone next door is very comforting. Great service, the girls who work there are very nice and super good. You have the sea right in front of you. It's nice to have breakfast on the shore and with very western food. We asked for a taxi to leave and they managed it at all Our most sincere congratulations! You are incredible

I was here in March 22. Sea View bungalow, two weeks. Very friendly personal, they do everything for you to please you. Lot of sun and a lot of shadow. Very nice terrace, where you can see the sun coming up, drinking a beer from the 7Eleven nearby. It is a family company and the family is friendly and interested in their customers. I go back soon.
