Its proximity to various restaurants, shops, and local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring the area. Being able to walk everywhere is a huge plus and adds an element of relaxation to the vacation experience.
Staff: One of the standout features of the resort is its staff. They are not only efficient, ensuring everything runs smoothly, but also genuinely friendly and welcoming, always greeting guests with a smile. This level of service greatly enhances the overall stay.
Room Views: Opting for a room on the third floor is highly recommended as it offers scenic views. While the first and second floors might lack these views, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms remain commendable. Bed and pillows were awesome!!
Pool Area: The infinity pool is a highlight, providing a luxurious and serene environment to relax, swim, or simply enjoy the sun. This well-maintained area is made even more enjoyable by the fun and friendly pool and bar staff. One memorable highlight was when staff made popsicles by hand for the guests, adding a delightful touch to the day’s activities.

AArdi in China+ Lovely location, not far from the main part of the city by motorbike. The beach outside the hotel is very shallow and clean! great for a morning swim. Other hotels can be found along the beach in the same area..just saying.
BUT, here is the huge let down with this hotel.
- Blood stains were found on the bed sheets on the first night, so had to request a change of sheets immediately. A couple of days later, my ENTIRE back and shoulders was covered with BED BUG bites. I had to see a dermatologist immediatelt because I was afraid, and they confirmed it was due to bed bugs at the hotel. After 5 days, the spots on my back and arms are still not recovered, truly disgusting experience. My arms arent as bad as my back!
Also, just before checking out of hotel on my way to the airport at 7am, the hotel accused me of not paying 4000THB for a trip I apparently didnt pay, which was a complete lie and now I wonder how many people have fallen for this scam. I paid all trips with credit card on the first hour of checking in at the hotel, all proof of payments are on my bank statement. The security guard would not let my taxi leave the hotel and called the police. I ended up leaving, because I had proof of payment on my bank statement. The hotel were proven wrong, but did not apologise to me for all the accusations.
Would I book at casa de mar again? If it wasnt for the last few days, I would...but after this experience...fuck that😄 book another hotel along the beach, cheaper prices, same experience.

VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted.
Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio.
Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet.
Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

GGuest UserHeel basic hotel. Locatie was okey, maar niet de beste. De straat waar het leuk zou moeten zijn, was niet zo levendig als verwacht. We vroegen om een kamer waar je geen geluid van de straat zou horen. Maar dat was er niet. Ze kunnen dus beter iets doen voor geluidsisolatie (zal waarschijnlijk toch niet gebeuren). Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Kamer best schoon, maar heel sfeerloos ingericht (betonnen nachtkastjes?). Gelukkig wel heel ruim. Een plek om een tweede koffer te openen was zeer gewenst! Er is genoeg ruimte voor. Ook wc in badkamer voelde erg krapjes aan. Je kon nauwelijks je kont keren.
Bed was niet comfortable, bestond uit twee delen en leek niet te ademen. Ondanks airco warm en vochtig. Niet lekker geslapen. Ontbijt was ook basic. Cocktails waren goed, zelfs een beetje persoonlijk gemaakt op verzoek. Heel aardig dat ze lokale snacks hadden op bepaalde momenten. Dus hier zeker van meegesnoept. Het personeel maakte het verblijf wel aangenamer. Let op: door vochtigheid en omliggende bomen enz. Wel last van muggen buiten. Wees er alert op.

GGuest UserWe recently stayed at the Sarann Hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is very clean, and the staff were professional and attentive. Our room was neatly cleaned every day, and fresh water was always provided.
The pool was a highlight and definitely one of the top features of the hotel.
On the downside, we did notice an unpleasant odor near the drains when walking from our room to the lobby and restaurant area. Also, the water pressure in the bathroom was not great; it took a long time to fill the bathtub. The TV channels were limited, and we didn't really use the television during our stay.
Another factor to consider is the location. The hotel sits at a corner, making it a bit tricky and potentially dangerous to cross the road due to traffic from both sides.
Lastly, the beach near the hotel wasn’t very clean, with quite a bit of litter washed up, but that’s not something the hotel can control. The resturant's food is the best we've had on the island. 10/10
In summary, the Saran Hotel is a good choice for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and lovely pool, though there are a few areas that could use improvement

AAnonymous UserЗдравствуйте ! Проживала в отеле 4 ночи , выбрала для проживания более старый номер из-за Наличия в нем ванной . Рекомендую выбирать все таки новые номера ( разницы в цене вообще почти нет), они будут располагаться ближе к морю и будут более свежие .
Из плюсов - красивая пляжная локация в конце ламаи у камней , на дне есть большие камни но они совершенно не смущают ибо ты их видишь и они далеко друг от друга расположены. На песке меньше мазута в отличии от основной части ламаи.
- в отеле много забавных котиков , я их кормила , очень была Рада с ними встретиться и провести время ))
- хорошая уборка номеров
- завтраки неплохие , много фруктов
- персонал рецепции и ресторана
Минусы - расположение все таки отдаленное , немного неудобно выезжать на кольцевую дорогу тк в этой локации всегда активный трафик . При этом 7\11 в пешей доступности есть . Все это к самому отелю не относится и данную отдаленность можно считать и как плюс , в данной части пляжа меньше проходимость
Был инцидент в номере с 2 огромными тараканами . Такое за всю историю моих многочисленных поездок в Тайланд я встретила во второй раз . И вопрос тут не к уборке точно .
Не понимаю почему на завтраках нет кофемашин как во всех отелях , официанты бедные ходят все утро с чайниками предлагая кофе которое сильно разбавлено

GGuest UserHad issues with the breakfast. I booked and paid for five days , two people with breakfast for two, through a different site. I was by myself for the first three days. The first day I invited my two friends to join me for breakfast. They said I would have to pay for one breakfast. I explained that only I would be there for first three days therefore should not have to pay extra breakfast since I paid for ten breakfasts total and was not going to use that many. I went and talked to the General Manager. That was nothing but a lesson in frustration. She stated that was two per day and they did not carry over. No where did it say that when booking. She was not flexible even 10 Baht. Breakfast was 500 baht. My girlfriend came after three days so we decided to stay 3 more days. I booked three more days on Trip.com. I went to office to ask if breakfast was included and the Person at the front desk said yes!!! My girlfriend and I ate breakfast the next day and after we ate said breakfast was not included!!!! Went to office again and the assistant manager was even worse than the General Manager. They have no idea what customer service means and the word of the employees obviously means nothing

The facilities are a bit old, but the price is affordable. It is a good choice for mid-priced hotels in Koh Samui. I had breakfast provided by the hotel during my two-day stay.
However, if you see ants in the pool while swimming, be careful about getting bitten. I also hope that hotel rooms will be equipped with international plugs. The pillow height felt too high while sleeping and there were no other pillow options. There are also bugs in the room. I hope pest control work can be done.

MM&SWe stayed 6 nights in a Deluxe Room and it was wonderful! The resort was not lacking in any way; the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was idyllic! We also highly recommend if you desire a stay away from the busy atmosphere of other locations.
