GGuest UserBeautiful little gem! The staff are super friendly and the rooms are so big and comfortable. The pool is really beautiful as well. Very close to the airport and great, affordable restaurants and massage places nearby. The only downside for me was that the beach and sea out front aren't quite as nice as a bit further down, but it's only a 5 minute walk down the beach to get to a bit deeper waters. Still a beautiful view from the beach and at a quieter end, which I really liked, and they maintain the beachfront really well. Would definitely recommend!

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Skype Beach Hotel in Koh Samui from 13-16 November 2025 with three of my girlfriends, and I could not be more impressed with the exceptional service we received throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of.
A special shout-out to Lee, the manager, who went above and beyond to help organize a surprise birthday celebration for two of my friends in our villa. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the event was a huge success, thanks to Lee and his team. Their thoughtful touches and seamless execution made the experience unforgettable.
Throughout our stay, we were consistently impressed by the professionalism and warmth of the staff. Nitty and Ross were particularly outstanding, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring our every need was met. Their hospitality truly set this property apart and made us feel like VIPs.
The villa itself was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating more than four people. We especially loved the theatre room, which had two beds and could comfortably accommodate an additional four guests—perfect for relaxing together as a group.
As for the food, we were delighted with the breakfast options offered each morning. The Thai Rice Soup and American Breakfast Set were just a few of the delicious choices that started our days off perfectly.
Overall, I highly recommend Skype Beach Hotel to anyone visiting Koh Samui. The service is top-notch, the staff is genuinely caring, and the atmosphere is one of warmth and relaxation. This trip was made even more special because of the outstanding efforts from Lee, Nitty, Ross, and the entire team. I will definitely be coming back for future trips and will be recommending this place to anyone I know visiting the island.

VViktorLocation: you need to immediately understand that you will need transport. There are a couple of cafes within walking distance, but we didn’t go to them, there weren’t many people there either, except that a couple of times we saw a few farangs having breakfast. Report offers delivery to and from the beach during certain hours. I don’t remember the price: either free, or for a symbolic fee, very low. They also offered to order breakfast and have it delivered to your villa: it’s certainly more expensive than in a regular cafe, but still affordable. We did not use this service, since we would have to plan breakfast time in advance (why?). The beach... we stayed during the daytime low tides, so I can’t say anything good about the sea, but the beach itself is clean and almost deserted.
Surprises: we booked a villa with three bedrooms and a living room + a swimming pool. When looking at the photos of the rooms (at the time of booking), I could not understand the location of the room and also could not understand the privacy of the pool. Will the pool be ours alone or will it have to be shared with guests from some other villa. I even looked around on Google Maps, but still didn’t fully understand it. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that this very villa consists of two separate houses between which there is a swimming pool (not small, but medium in size). One house consists of two bedrooms with separate entrances and separate bathrooms, and the other house consists of a huge living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom + 2 bathrooms. Grandiose! Another patio.
Of the minuses: not very stable wi-fi, TV is brooding. That's all. Air conditioners also do not cool as quickly as we would like, but this is the fault of the building design. A huge area of glazing which is made of single wood. If in the future we install normal aluminum structures with double-glazed windows, it will be possible to achieve a better effect from air conditioners + save on electricity and improve sound insulation. However, air conditioners do their job quite well. It was almost always quiet.
Overall everything is ok. This place is worth the money. The owner, Lana, is very friendly and speaks perfect Russian.

EEmily Rose L- Great location at the end of Lamai beach with a lovely view of both sand and beautiful boulders.
-There is a little beach bar just beside the hotel that provides spots to sit on a giant boulder, which is a great perch in the evening or for sunrise. It looks like there are paddle boards and snorkels for use at the hotel. It’s near to the Grandmother/father rocks and Lamai beach is perfect for swimming and walking.
- We loved the breakfasts, especially the delicious homemade croissants and pain au chocolate, along with fresh fruits changed daily and eggs to order. The Thai lunch options were also very good.
-Win and Naing were kind and warm and helped us with what we needed.
- The pool and frangipani tree, along with a variety of spots for lounging, including big covered round beds, created a chill atmosphere: so comfortable that were much lazier than we thought we’d be because we were so relaxed.
Tip: The rooms have only partial views and the best view is #8.
Note: Our room was a bit stuffy and the bathroom was a little dark and a little smelly, but definitely not too bad. The alley just outside the hotel is unlit and foul smelling, but a short walk away from some massage places and a few restaurants and bars.
In general, the property is well maintained but shows a bit of wear, including stained patio cushions and umbrellas and things like that, but just a touch of aesthetic upgrades are needed- it’s still a great beach resort, a very good value, and we’d be back again. Merci!

Everything feels new, and the room service is incredibly quick (coffee delivered in just 3-5 minutes). Their convenient mobile app truly simplifies all communication. For instance, you can easily request housekeeping after leaving your room or ask for anything else via chat – it's incredibly convenient.

AAnonymous UserЗдравствуйте ! Проживала в отеле 4 ночи , выбрала для проживания более старый номер из-за Наличия в нем ванной . Рекомендую выбирать все таки новые номера ( разницы в цене вообще почти нет), они будут располагаться ближе к морю и будут более свежие .
Из плюсов - красивая пляжная локация в конце ламаи у камней , на дне есть большие камни но они совершенно не смущают ибо ты их видишь и они далеко друг от друга расположены. На песке меньше мазута в отличии от основной части ламаи.
- в отеле много забавных котиков , я их кормила , очень была Рада с ними встретиться и провести время ))
- хорошая уборка номеров
- завтраки неплохие , много фруктов
- персонал рецепции и ресторана
Минусы - расположение все таки отдаленное , немного неудобно выезжать на кольцевую дорогу тк в этой локации всегда активный трафик . При этом 7\11 в пешей доступности есть . Все это к самому отелю не относится и данную отдаленность можно считать и как плюс , в данной части пляжа меньше проходимость
Был инцидент в номере с 2 огромными тараканами . Такое за всю историю моих многочисленных поездок в Тайланд я встретила во второй раз . И вопрос тут не к уборке точно .
Не понимаю почему на завтраках нет кофемашин как во всех отелях , официанты бедные ходят все утро с чайниками предлагая кофе которое сильно разбавлено

AAnonymous UserWe stayed at this property for five nights and found the stay to be just okay.
Unfortunately, the rooms and the entire complex are very outdated, not modern at all, and overall a bit run-down. Many things were broken or in need of renovation. In our room, the toilet flush didn’t work properly, and there was an unpleasant smell that I personally found disturbing. We booked a pool villa that was supposed to have a sea view, but sadly, that sea view did not exist.
Direct access to the sea is also not really available. You can climb over many rocks at your own risk, but there are no sunbeds or facilities at the beach.
On a very positive note, the cleaning service was excellent. The rooms were cleaned to perfection every single day, and our private pool was also spotless.
Breakfast is not served as a buffet but rather as three fixed menus to choose from. While we found this a bit too limited, the food itself was very tasty.
The shuttle from the harbor to the hotel was unfortunately not free of charge, though the shuttle from the hotel to the airport was complimentary. Renting a scooter on-site was very easy and convenient.
The location of the hotel, however, was very good, which made it easy to get around.
All in all, our stay was fine, but we would not choose this accommodation again. It felt like there was a lot of maintenance work needed across the property, yet we never really saw anyone working on it. This is a shame, as the resort and villas themselves have a lot of potential, but unfortunately, that potential is not being used.

GGuest UserHad issues with the breakfast. I booked and paid for five days , two people with breakfast for two, through a different site. I was by myself for the first three days. The first day I invited my two friends to join me for breakfast. They said I would have to pay for one breakfast. I explained that only I would be there for first three days therefore should not have to pay extra breakfast since I paid for ten breakfasts total and was not going to use that many. I went and talked to the General Manager. That was nothing but a lesson in frustration. She stated that was two per day and they did not carry over. No where did it say that when booking. She was not flexible even 10 Baht. Breakfast was 500 baht. My girlfriend came after three days so we decided to stay 3 more days. I booked three more days on Trip.com. I went to office to ask if breakfast was included and the Person at the front desk said yes!!! My girlfriend and I ate breakfast the next day and after we ate said breakfast was not included!!!! Went to office again and the assistant manager was even worse than the General Manager. They have no idea what customer service means and the word of the employees obviously means nothing
