W Koh Samui

I chose W Koh Samui for my honeymoon because of its reputation as a luxury resort, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the expectations or the price we paid. Throughout our stay, we were disturbed by daily construction and maintenance noise, which made it difficult to relax. Our private pool remained dirty for almost the entire stay, the bathroom was not cleaned to the standard expected of a five-star hotel, and the pool towels were never replaced despite requesting fresh ones. We also found a lizard inside our room, which caused significant distress as my wife has a severe phobia. While some staff members were polite and tried to help, the overall handling of these issues was disappointing. The hotel offered only a complimentary airport transfer as compensation, which did not reflect the impact these problems had on our honeymoon. W Koh Samui has a beautiful location and great potential, but based on my experience, it fell well short of the luxury standard expected from the W brand. I hope the hotel addresses these issues so future guests can enjoy the experience we had hoped for.

We loved our first visit to W Samui, but this second one meant a little more. Walking in and seeing so many familiar faces—from the front desk to the buggy drivers—was a lovely surprise. It says a lot about a place when the same people are still there, greeting you like you never left. The room was as beautiful and clean as we remembered, and the kids settled in right away. We booked half-board this time, and even after eight days, we genuinely looked forward to every meal. The variety was impressive, but more than that, the food just felt consistently good.  We visited the Japanese restaurant one night and my kids went up to ask for Chef Daniel’s autograph, that’s how much they enjoyed the food! We tried a few new things—cooking & a cocktail class with the family, a floating breakfast at the villa—and they added a nice layer to this trip. The fire show had a new female performer too, and we made a point to watch it twice.  Also a bbq dinner on the beach w live music!   For me, the gym was a welcome escape while the kids headed off to golf each day. But really, it was the little moments and the warm, unhurried service that made this stay feel special. Thank you to the whole team ~ we hope to be back before too long!!

We had an unforgettable stay at Cape Azure Resort Samui, and we couldn't be happier with our choice! The resort itself is breathtaking, featuring a stunning infinity pool where you can swim while gazing out at the endless, gorgeous ocean views. What truly made our trip exceptional, however, was the incredible staff. We had a dedicated manager named Ball who along with three lovely housekeepers and two attentive gardeners, looked after us around the clock. Their attention to detail was top tier, they served delicious breakfasts and dinners, quietly lit mosquito coils whenever we were in or outdoors, and cleaned up the villa in record time whenever we swam. On top of that, they arranged seamless round trip transport for us to visit the night markets. The driver was exceptionally kind and helpful, taking great care of our belongings and making us feel completely welcomed every step of the way. This stay surpassed all our expectations and truly felt like a home away from home. We are leaving 100% satisfied, cannot wait to return to this beautiful villa in the future, and will be recommending it to all our friends!
