I had a pleasant stay at The Bay, would definitely come again. The bungalow is great, spacious and cozy. The beach is really nice, it's shared by several resorts and there's not so many people. On the downside, there was no hot water initially, but the staff fixed that pretty quickly. Also, there was some kind of a dump on the back side of the house.

Perfect place for chilling the atmosphere of relax and enjoying the sea. But the hotel conditions is not so good. Anyway for this price is ok. Staff is cute and friendly . Thank you for your warm

Very cozy hotel for a couple, just infront of the beach

The receptionist is very cute. The room is very beautiful, the view is beautiful, but the bathroom smells a bit. Overall, I like it.

Of course there are shortcomings, but overall for this price it is very good. And the location is great

The temporarily changed hotel finally allowed me to live in the place I wanted to live in. It is only a few steps away, the seaside cottage!!! [Bitter] The green coverage of the resort is also too high. I saw a large pheasant and didn’t know it was a wild bird just after strolling around...🐔? 🐦? It's a pity I didn't have time to take pictures! The hotel staff are very friendly, they will take the initiative to smile and say hello when they see you, which makes people feel great. The room is very clean and spacious. Mosquito coils are needed at night. The natural environment of the resort is good and there are naturally many mosquitoes. But this hotel is not very popular, when we checked in, it felt like we were the only customers... Then I asked about the other two. 😅 The hotel is directly connected to Samrong Beach. The beach is small and the sand is not too fine, but fortunately, the sea is not too rough, suitable for swimming and kayaking. The sea is beautiful, with reefs in the distance and hills everywhere. Overall, I think this price is worth it!

A perfect place with direct access to the beach

Definitely not as advertised. Pictures looked amazing, but once there...Overgrown foliage everywhere, pools not maintained (not sure if individual's responsibility). The access to our unit is an ankle sprain waiting to happen. The stepping stones were hard to walk on, I can't imagine negotiating them at night! The room was ok, but outdated. An odd odour to the room as well. Definitely isolated from some of the shopping & cafes as well. We checked out within 30min of arrival, and got no refund. I definitely do not recommend this property.

I am very upset to have read negative reviews of this resort. I arrived yesterday and my bungalow is amazing! Accommodation clean, great aircon and 30 second walk from my bungalow to the private beach and pool/bar. The resort is surrounded by lush green gardens and some bungalows have private pools. 13 mins drive to Fisherman’s Village and 20 mins to Chaweng. Beautiful little local store opposite. A bit of a mini mart selling alcohol, snacks, cigarettes etc. All you need really. The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. I got upgraded free of charge so I was closer to Beach/pool after having ankle surgery. Beach bar prices very reasonable and if you order a Long Iced Island Tea there is enough alcohol for 2 people lol! They give you a can of coke to go with it and it was around $11 AUD! Paradise for sure

Very disorganized hotel. The staff is nice but clueless. The beach is dirty and the location is in the worst possible spot on the island not near anything. For the money it should be better. Room clean bed comfortable. There are better choices here.

The wifi was not working and asked them many times for help but did nothing

Great place to stay. Right on the beach. Super quiet and relaxing. The staff that works there is soo friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Wifi is also excellent. Very fast and reliable. You can sit in the pool over looking the beach and just chill.

The receptionist was kind and very friendly. I was there for 2 nights with my wife the staff was kind and wanted to give us a promotion upgrade, but the room that we got was already great so we didn't upgrade our room for sure will be there again soon.

amazing property that has a nice vibe to it. but my favourite part was Banana who works there at the reception, he made our stay so delightful with his happy n calm energy always ready to help and assist us!!!
