Had a great experience

Good afternoon ! I booked a villa with a small pool at this hotel, I really liked the private atmosphere! The villa was located across the road. You are completely surrounded by walls that are surrounded by plants, a villa with a bathroom that appears to have been recently renovated! In the villa itself, the furniture is not new, but decorated in Thai style, and I was completely happy with it for the money this accommodation option costs, which is completely private and usually costs more when looking at other hotels. The pool has beautiful multi-colored lighting and three underwater massage showers, which are great for warming up. There were no insects in the room! The reception staff is good. The restaurant staff is slow. The breakfast is not very bad, but the coffee machine is not a grain machine and the coffee is not very good at all. And so the standard set is present, plus two varieties of Thai dishes. As for the beach, it is calm, I was on vacation in April and there was almost no wind, which made it very hot and stuffy. Plus it's small. But some people love shallow water - choose for yourself. The sunsets are really very beautiful. It takes 20-25 minutes to get to Lamai by moped.

There is a beautiful beach and great scenery near the hotel. The breakfast has no hot food and few styles. There are no shops nearby at night. It is convenient to drive. The toilet in the accommodation room is large and the swimming pool will be clean.

I took a room in the building where the lobby is located. Overall everything is good. I chose the hotel only because I love the beaches on this side of Lipa Noi Island. I didn’t stay in their villas. Just passing the time on the beach. Breakfast is meager. But 100 meters from the hotel there is a cafe (The outback Cafe Lipanoi - find it in Google maps) with good English breakfasts. The young hostess approaches every request very carefully. There are also many restaurants in neighboring hotels along the entire coast, but 3+

Wonderful intimate hotel. 12 large spacious villas and a building with rooms. Authentic design of rooms, nice beach, small pool. The breakfast and restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, but that's not a problem. There is a great beach restaurant next door. Opposite there are shops and street cafes with low prices.

Good hotel. Corresponds to price and quality, service. The sea is gorgeous.

The Kanok Buri is a good hotel, its out-of-the-way location will allow you to be "quiet*" and on the edge of the beach. * there are a lot of noise pollution related to insects and animals of all kinds. The hotel restaurant is good and within hotel prices apart from the cocktails at 300bath which I find expensive but they are very good. Let's come to the rooms and chalets the rooms are old like most Thai budget hotels, the chalets are old too. Features of the room ok but the bathroom is struggling the shower is small and half works the jacuzzi bath works but you should not be in a hurry because the water flow is low. For the chalet all the same except that the bathroom is more functional but with the same water flow. Cleanliness in the 2 everything is clean the beds the sheets the floor etc. only weak point of their cleaning the showers and bathtubs show some trace of dust or sand etc. My personal opinion it's a good hotel but just clean up the showers and baths a bit.

Most unhygienic hotel I have ever stayed in, definitely not 4 star. We had the last villa on the opposite side of the road to the actual resort, number 910, and they said housekeeping was until 4pm, everyday it got to 4pm and our room hadn’t been cleaned so we had to chase them up via WhatsApp as there is no phone in the rooms, then they would send someone to ‘clean’ which meant they would only sweep the floor and make the bed, literally took then 5 mins. After 6 nights our bed hadnt been changed once even though there were marks on it from a spilled drink, they just flipped the duvet over thinking we wouldn’t see it, they hadn’t changed our coffee cups, just left used mugs on the side for 4 days so we whatspped them again and they sent the cleaners back and they finally gave us fresh bedding, swept again and mopped for the first time in 6 days, they didn’t clean the shower at all, grime and build up all over the bathroom including the toilet seat. So many fruit flys constantly in the room. We only had 2 more nights so we thought we could deal with the dirt, so we went to the shops, were gone about 20 mins and came back to fresh rat droppings on the bedroom floor. We whatspped again and asked them to send the manager, we got a knock on the door and it was the maintenance man with a stick and a torch to get rid of the rodent, I asked him if he was manager and he said no so I whatspped again and then got told the manager was at the night market and left her phone at reception so didn’t know how long she would be. An hour had passed and they offered no solution so we waited at reception, another hour later 4 employees pulled up, I got told Nong was the manager but when I spoke to Nong she told me the manager isn’t here and was in Bangkok, when I explained the situation to Nong she laughed in my face and said no refund. We demanded contact with the manager so Nong called the manager and through Google translate we heard her telling the manager that we were only trying to save money, when we told her we aren’t trying to save money she said I didn’t say that I said you was asking for a refund but she looked embaressed that we caught her out. They didn’t offer us a new room until we demanded a refund and by that point we didn’t want to be there another second, after she spoke to the manager again we got offered a 3 day refund as ‘we didn’t complain when we first got there’ well there wasn’t rat faeces on the floor when we first got there. Nong and Snow the two ladies on reception were so rude to us and couldn’t care less about our problems, this took 4 hours to ‘resolve’ and we have now checked into another hotel. Please do not waste your money on this hotel, we were refused a taxi to the nearest cash point earlier on in our stay because it was ‘only a 15 minute walk’ which turned out to be an hour round trip mid day in over 30 degree heat and they also refused us a taxi when we left the hotel with all our luggage so we had to walk and get one up the

Amazing staff! Such a unique place with a gorgeous beach. Loved our own private pool villa. The restaurant prepared delicious entrees and yummy drinks at great prices. Loved the Free daily breakfast Buffett. There was no detail they over looked. When my husbands back went out they drove us back and forth to the hospital and stayed to translate for us. We had everything we needed and with a smile by everyone on staff. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Only stayed for one night in the family room with pool. The room was clean and nice and the pool area was also nice. Nothing to fault. The food at the restaurant was really nice which is right on the beach.

When we arrived at 6pm we were made to wait around for 15 minutes before taken to a room. The room we booked was supposed to be luxury but when we got there it was very dated. It had a private pool that needed cleaning so we didn’t use it! Bedroom and bathroom are clean, if you can get this room discounted sure, it’s ok, but don’t pay full price for this, I’d say it’s worth $50 a night max

We stayed here for 4 nights on Koh Samui, and found the grounds to be amazing and well looked after, the room was great with only one note id say is the AC only works with the key so it had AC off all day and took an hour to cool it back down. Breakfast was good, staff were good and helped us rent a motorbike. Overall a nice experience.

The photos of the hotel that can be seen on the various sites are not very representative of the hotel! Yes, the rooms are spacious and bright although dated! The entire hotel is… On the other hand, the common areas are not maintained at all: the deckchairs and parasols are broken, the chairs and tables in the restaurant are chipped! On the other hand, the swimming pool offers practically no parasols or deckchairs! On the other hand, the hotel has a very pretty garden which is also poorly maintained... A little refreshment would make it a delicious place
