Nantra Chaweng Beach Hotel Reviews

This hotel is fine if you just need something basic. When I first got there I found that the AC was infested with mold. They did clean it when I mentioned it, but having it there in general isn't a good sign of cleanliness. The bathroom is very small and a bit awkward with no shower curtain, so prepare to soak the bathroom and then some when you shower. The liquid soap is actually quite bad to, buy your own. If you stay here then do it for it's proximity to the beach. It's a 2 mins early to chaewang beach, 2 mins from the muy Thai stadium and 5 mins from the girly bars. The hotel is just ok, but There are also a few other hotels nearby that may give you more bang for your buck.

I like this hotel because of its nice staff and perfect location next to the beach. It’s perfect place to stay to relax in Samui on the Chaweng beach.

Okay hotel besides the moldy smell.. I just had an issue with one of the staff members on the last day. Around 8.00 i asked if i could let them know i would check out by a phone before 12.00 if i could not join a daytrip to the national park because it i could not i would want to stay one more night. He kept saying i had to decide immediately if i wanted to check out even though the official checkout time is 12.00. I could not join the trip because the last boat already left and changed the hotel because of that. Won't go back

Perfect location, not expensive but still comfy and well kept. Simple and good choice.

Nice clean friendly hotel. A short walk to the beach. A nice friendly restaurant Opposite the hotel. A longer walk to the shopping area. Lively night area also near Central shopping centre.

This was a good hotel for us to stay at before our flight the next day. We stayed for one night and had no issues. There is a Muay Thai boxing stadium just around the corner which we went to and was good. There are a few flaws but it definitely suited a purpose and was a good price in comparison to other places. The pool area was out of order when we stayed and the restaurant/ table and chairs area was also closed but we wouldn’t have used these areas anyway as we stayed for such a short time. I would stay again.

The room facilities is pretty good and room area is enough. Also sometimes a little bit noisy from street. But generally it's a good choice for the money

Very good. I like this hotel because I have stayed at the Phrom Phong branch before and really liked the rooms and services. So I tried searching in Samui and actually found it. So I reserved 3 nights. When we arrived the staff received service and gave very good advice. Very hospitable. I love reception. You can say this word right away. The only thing installed is the part where you receive the air conditioner. It's a waste of time. So it's a little hot when we sit and talk and discuss various matters and drink tea and coffee because it's a tea and coffee service point in that section. As for the room, it's the right size, not too small or too big, just right for two people. There are many types of rooms to choose from. We chose a methodical style because we like the ventilation by opening the windows. very ok for us But it would be better if there was a hair dryer available in every room like the Phrom Phong branch. The night before leaving, we encountered an unexpected event: the air conditioner was dripping water in the middle of the night. The staff asked me to change the bedroom. I really like how the problem was handled quickly. The location of the hotel is also good, close to the market, restaurants, bars and beach tea spots. We go to Central Samui almost every day because it's not far away. Drive 4 minutes and you'll be there. Go for a walk in the evening after dinner haha. As for when we stayed, we used the hotel's motorbike rentals. For driving around the city, 250 baht per day. P.S. For those who are not strong drivers, driving is not recommended because the roads are hilly up and down most of the mountains in the tourist spots. Overall, this place is very good. Recommended location, room price, and service are very good.

The room is small and needs to be adapted to, and the location is acceptable, but you still have to use a motorcycle to get in and out. Taxi taxis on the island are extremely expensive and not that convenient, so you must use a motorcycle.

I liked the hotel. Good combination of price and quality. Excellent location: less than 2 minutes walk to the sea. The center of Chaweng is 15-20 minutes walk. Nice and friendly staff. Cleaning every day and free bottles of drinking water every day, which is convenient and important in a hot climate.

Towels and bed linen are white (not grey). Daikin air conditioner. Functions well. Good location. Good sound insulation. There are no noisy establishments nearby. But there is all the infrastructure: cafes, massage, beach... The staff speaks good English. The room has dim lights and very weak Wi-Fi. Tea. Coffee. Boiling water

Really not disappointed First time booking with this hotel. The location is good. There is a convenience store within walking distance to the beach. Quiet, suitable for relaxing. The rooms are clean. There is a maid who comes to clean every day when you need it.

Nice hotel, nice room with a small balcony. The bed is comfortable. They only clean if you put up a sign to get out, they don’t clean without it. There is soap and shampoo in the room. Location, close to the beach (literally cross the road, you don’t even need to look for a passage) in an area with restaurants. The center of Chaweng is about 10 minutes walk away. The pool is bad.
