This was our fourth time in Pattra. Over the past 4 years since the last visit, the hotel has been degrading. The feeling that the owners abandoned the hotel to local managers. Sawn branches from a mango tree near the gym lay without being taken out for almost 3 weeks of our stay. Lawns covered in fallen leaves and dry grass. The sun loungers and umbrellas are of deplorable quality and require replacement or at least attention - painting to bring them into a divine form. Umbrellas faded from red to white. Yes, there are only 15 sun loungers for the entire pool. When not fully loaded, problems arise only with the availability of mattresses for them, and in the week when the hotel was 70% occupied, they are all “reserved” by cunning Europeans who, having occupied them, are not present. The administration does not regulate this moment in any way. Despite the fact that the pool is open until 20:00, mattresses can be removed from sun loungers after five. And those, modest, who come from the beach later, are located on bare boards. You can forget about the former hearty and varied breakfast - now everything has been brought to European uniformity. Standard eggs, a set of vegetables / fruits, a few local “specialties”: wantons, gyoza, sausages alternate every other day. There are no already famous pancakes, pad thaya, rice of different choice from under the chef's knife according to your order. The coffee got better - they put a coffee machine. But filtered "brown water" is also available. For all the time with this quality visited breakfast on the strength of several times. As for the rooms, I always stayed in the same villa, now it has been slightly updated, the ceilings have been whitewashed, furniture has been added here and there. But the roof in heavy rain leaks in the same place where it always does. The refrigerator stopped freezing, which is very depressing. The hotel made it impossible to disconnect the key from the power management card by soldering the ring. When you leave, you completely de-energize the room and return to a stuffy room.
