No doubt, one of the best beach hotels in Koh Samui, in terms of the private beach access and various types of rooms. Although looked old, but no issues with the cleanliness. It scored only four stars in cleanliness due to the ongoing renovation works at the swimming pools.

Lovely clean large room with comfy bed and plenty of clean towels and aircon. Bathroom / shower products included. Tea and coffee facilities and safe in room provided. Beautiful little swimming pool with sun loungers and direct access to beach. I couldn’t find the wifi password anywhere after the front desk closed so just don’t forget to ask when you check in. Very friendly welcome on arrival :)

We had a family vacation in July 2024! We were worried when we booked - only 3 stars! Thai House exceeded all expectations in all criteria! The sea is perfect in July - great entry, sandy bottom without stones and seaweed! You can eat and order any drinks on the beach at reasonable prices, and you don't need to carry money with you - everything will be written off to the room account! It rained twice in the afternoon and evening in two weeks, but we were not upset! We swam in the pool and in the sea in the rain! Everyone was delighted, especially the children! All the infrastructure is nearby: cafes, bars, night market, beach clubs, supermarkets, shopping centers! Opposite the exit from the hotel there is a shop with excursions - we went to the islands (I recommend the excursion with a climb up a 400 m mountain, and the island of pigs is not very good, just huge pigs on the island are lying in the mud and it takes a very long time to get there, you can see pink dolphins, but you can not find them at all or see only the tail from afar, it is impossible to take a video or photo, they appear for a split second), and also went on a sightseeing tour of Samui - we really liked it! It was very nice to get a surprise for my daughter's birthday! I liked everything so much that every day I fall asleep with the thought - to return to Thai House again!

The hotel is located very well - on the best part of the beach, but not on the noisiest side. Nearby (two steps away) there is a store and a travel agency, a massage parlor, an excellent cafe (immediately behind the store to the right, the first one, very tasty and soulful), bike rental, 7-8 minutes away 7-11 and the night market (to the right) and a mini big -s (left). Cleaning every day, water replenished, towels changed. The room is spacious, with high ceilings, it is easy to breathe, the air conditioning is perfectly adjustable and does not blow on the bed. The bed itself is comfortable, moderately soft, excellent pillows (2 pieces each), sleeps great. Very friendly staff, everyone greets you and smiles (this seems to be common in Thailand, but here everyone is really nice) + we checked in two hours earlier and allowed us to postpone check-in for an hour for free. The only negative is the hotel restaurant, it’s expensive (one and a half times higher than in neighboring cafes), it also takes a long time, and it’s not tasty, to be honest :( just a disappointment... But overall the hotel is excellent, a little tired, but overall very comfortable!!!

Good hotel, honest three ruble. Despite the fact that there is a mini-pond with fish and fountains in the yard, there are no mosquitoes, unlike Hive, which we moved to after this hotel. Lots of sunbeds right on the beach, daily cleaning, friendly staff. The pool is not very big, but you can splash around during rough seas. There are a sufficient number of sockets, there are dryers for swimsuits, a mirror not only in the bathroom, but also above the table. Excellent breakfasts, during our stay there were other fruits, papaya, and, of course, the usual mangoes, pineapples, watermelons and melons. The coffee machine produces a wonderful Flat White. The baked goods are also excellent. Sometimes they organize a BBQ party and FireShow right on the beach. In general, I did not find any shortcomings.

Great location. In my opinion, the best location is near this beach, where the best hotels are located. Nearby is a very good beach club DOORS, where fire shows are held. Exit from the hotel to a well-kept beach with your own sun loungers. The hotel has a small swimming pool, probably for children. The rooms are large, but tired, just like the hotel itself. I can't fault the cleanliness or decoration. However, the furniture is still old, it seems that it has not been updated from the very beginning. There are two disadvantages, in my opinion, worse: audibility and a balcony. The fact is that the doors are very thin and simple. Therefore, all the noise from the street and from the neighbors is very loud. And the balcony in the rooms adjacent to the passage literally goes to the railing of the passage itself. By the way, the internal rooms overlook the garden, but the garden itself looks unprepossessing. One name :) In general, if we talk about privacy, there isn’t much of it here. As for the service. This is another weak point of the hotel. We had a request via email before check-in and during our stay. Both remained unanswered. Moreover, on one of the days it was offered to book dinner on the beach itself and for this you had to write to an email from which they did not respond. We also forgot our things when checking out, and it was very difficult to get through by phone, as well as convey information. As a conclusion, if the pricing policy had been lower, then the hotel would have been out of competition. And so it buys more due to its location and proximity to the entire infrastructure of Lamai beach.

We have stayed at the Thai House Beach Resort four times and were always greeted in a friendly manner as regular guests. Unfortunately, this was no longer the case on our last stay. Instead, we got one of the worst rooms we have stayed in this hotel to date. We used to be enthusiastic about the comfort and the great value for money, but unfortunately we couldn't say the same this time. The hotel definitely needs to be renovated as everything is already worn out - both the rooms and the bathroom. Our room was large, but poorly furnished. There was no decoration, no pictures, nothing that would have made it cozy. The breakfast used to be much better too. It wasn't a total disaster, but we had expected something different. We were very disappointed because the quality had dropped so much. Now it really feels like a 3-star hotel, whereas we used to think it was a good 4-star hotel. The location of the hotel is great and the water was a dream. However, there was one annoying point: In the room it was indicated that reserving beach chairs was prohibited and towels would be removed after 30 minutes. Unfortunately, this was not implemented. Some hotel guests kept six chairs free for two people just so that no one would lie near them. The staff should have intervened here. Another negative point was the departure. We were not said goodbye to at reception. We were only told to wait a moment until the room was checked and then we could leave. No friendly goodbye - we were not used to that at all from this hotel. We used to always recommend this hotel to our friends and family members. We brought many guests to the hotel who also always enjoyed it during their stays. After we returned, we were immediately asked how it was. Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend it and I think these guests will not want to come back either. In summary, we were very disappointed with our stay at the Thai House Beach Resort and hope that the hotel improves soon.

Hotel is right on the beach. Pool is small but adequate with whirlpool and children's pool. Very centrally located. Not far from the shopping street. Breakfast was sufficient and good. Room was also very nice and had a large balcony. You got fresh beach towels every day.

A very good location, but not for a family holiday, but for parties and celebrations. The hotel area is not large at all, the video looks like an old hotel. The staff were great, but there was a misunderstanding about the number of guests, because we had 2 adults and 2 children, it was not clear which room could accommodate us and which could not. We booked a room for 3 adults, they finally accommodated us, but we had some questions.

Excellent hotel. The staff is polite, always ready to help. The breakfasts are good. Room cleaning is excellent. Pleased with water in glass bottles. As a result, I recommend this hotel.
