The hotel has thoughtful and meticulous service. I was also upgraded to a first-line sea view villa. The yoga class was very professional and the scenery of the class was so beautiful.

We are spoiled with abundant choices in Koh Samui and we picked the stellar one - Napasari, A Belmond Hotel. Our priorities are 1. excellent weather 2. Private & nice sand beach 3. Excellent sports and wellness facilities 4. Sense of privacy and serenity, Full score on all dimensions but above all the staff. Chud the wellness and fitness manager has been unreal. You keep the team and all the facilities in top notch conditions. We will come back becoz of you.

We had an amazing week in Napasai. We stayed at a 3-bedroom waterfront villa with our own pool and beach. The villa was lovely and grounds very attractive, but it was quite far from the main area where breakfast, gym etc are located. The positive side of this was that it was nice and quiet and mostly we didn’t mind the walk and when it was too hot, the team running the buggies were very prompt and helpful. We found the reception team, especially Ae and Beer, extremely helpful, organising us drivers for various trips. I would advise guests to rent a car or ask for a driver to take yourself elsewhere in Koh Samui for dinner. The hotel breakfast is lovely, but we were not blown away by either of the restaurants for dinner. My only word of caution is for travellers with younger children: the villas are not actually a single building with a central lounge, but separate buildings. So our 3-bed villa was four separate buildings, all on different levels on the hillside. For us, with older children this was not an issue, though we would have felt more together if we’d been in one apartment. I imagine the hotel would advise against this type of accommodation if someone had smaller children.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were great, particularly at breakfast service and at the beachfront. We were woken at 6am daily by the sprinkler system hitting the bungalow, and housekeeping knocking at 7.30 am, so make sure you put your rope over the entrance which means do not disturb. I asked at reception if they could move the 6am starts, so I wish I’d done that after the first one as they did change it until later. We got taxis to Fisherman’s village which was great in the evening, and close by. We ate at the restaurant one night, but found it no better than where we started going, and much more expensive.

I really liked this resort. I found the quality of the rooms very good. They felt spacious, well designed and fitted out, comfortable (I was in a pool villa). They were very clean, and well maintained. The service by the staff was excellent and considerate. The pool was good. The breakfast buffet and the restaurants were good. The only minor concerns, which probably don't affect most people, are that it would better if the beach/reef at the resort was better for snorkeling. The water was warm, but the snorkeling wasn't great. But if you're not too stressed about that, I thought it as a great resort. And I note that there were not a lot of other kids at the resort, so it wasn't a big kids club (which some kids might want). If these are not issues for you then I recommend this resort.

The entire stay was excellent right from the time of check-in. The staff were very warm and the service was excellent. Special thanks to guest relations manager Alla giving us recommendations and ensuring every request of ours was taken care. Special mention to restaurant staff Toi and Smile for genuinely taking care of our dietary needs. Thanks to the house keeping staff and the every smiling front desk valets. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again !
