From the point of view of a "digital nomad" I cannot recommend the accommodation. After an inquiry on a Facebook group "Digital Nomads Koh Samui" William (who also wrote one of the previous reviews...) wrote me and he offered me his accommodation. He has taken over the management and, according to his own statements, wants to turn the village into a "digital nomad hub". It was important to me that everything was right because I and my girlfriend were looking for something to work for 1 month. Good internet, decent table + chair and in the best case a community with other digital nomads. After we cleared everything up, I made a deposit. A few days later, 1 week before arrival, William simply canceled the booking. Now we were left empty-handed and had to search again. Then, after 3 days, the room was free again and we decided to move into the "Amy Village" despite Williams' unilateral refusal. Unfortunately it was all very disappointing. Only a few rooms have a direct LAN cable connection and I had regular disconnects with the WiFi. When I asked William about it, he said he wasn't willing to do anything about it. But he would be happy to do a service if I would pay him. The facility is extremely cheap. The televisions are so bad that the picture and sound from our notebooks were better. Many sockets have loose contacts. The newly bought office chairs are useless because they are very small and not ergonomic, so that your back hurts very quickly. The towels are very used and stained and are only changed once a week for longer stays. Also the furniture at the pool area is getting old and the cushions are dirty and smelly. After a few days we asked William for a clarifying conversation. We listed everything to him, because last but not least, we didn't get the 2-room apartment that he showed us on video beforehand and which we booked. He said he will try to transfer us to the promised apartment. A day later it was canceled again because there is no LAN cable or router there. He suggested to us that it's probably best if we look for something new. That would have been the "worst case" for us, because all of the time periods were tight for us. Only after our suggestion did he meet us with a discount, but then in the subsequent contact he was always somehow awkward, as if he had been offended with us. Highly unprofessional! In general, contact with William was very frustrating. He always had this corporate slang, à la: "I take your critique very seriously." But there were almost never any constructive suggestions for solutions or improvements from his side. It's really a shame, because the roommates, the service staff and the owner of the facility
