Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa is a white sand slice of heaven. It’s staff is beyond friendly and extremely hardworking, it’s on-site restaurant is delicious and has a varied menu, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the beach is idyllic (and maintained daily), Rachavadee Spa is relaxing and professional, and the front desk and room service are eager to assist in want of any need. If your desire is to stay on the busier side (the east side) of Koh Samui, close to beachside restaurants and bars, this is the perfect place to be.

Very nice resort in a perfect part of the beach. Room was spacious and breakfast was ok.

Nice hotel in the center of Chaweng. It is easy to reach the nearest restaurants, cafes and other establishments. The rooms are old but clean. The staff is very friendly.

Hotel ideally located, too bad our room was too close to the parking lot, lots of noise in the morning.

The hotel's spa is cheaper and better than the ones on the street outside, which I didn't expect. The clerk has a nice attitude and a sweet mouth. There are a lot of stray cats in the hotel garden, and they occasionally get into fights, but I don't mind watching the excitement and enjoy it.

The service attitude of the hotel staff is very good, the place is clean and the location is convenient

Facilities are too old! Thai refurbishment doesn't cost a fortune either, I don't know why. The remote control in the picture can represent a lot of things. The location is good, the attitude of the staff is also good, but every service in Thailand is passable

賓館前的查汶海灘的沙質細膩，正好避開巖石羣，非常適合日光浴和海濱活動。房間衞生很好衹是設施比較舊了。百米外的酒吧震耳欲聾的音樂聲，直到晚上2:00才會停歇

The best resort in koh samui . this is our second time here and we feel that that we are at home. magnificent resort with the best staff in the world( ( front desk, housekeeping, restaurant , beach…. all the staff ).specially the manager Tum sudjai , the one and only one , great service, , very professional, made are vacation perfect! the rooms are beautiful, clean and huge. thank you for everything i recommend this resort

Pros: Really good resort, gives you a bang for your buck. We took 2 beachfront rooms - room 501 & 505 from 12th June - 17th June 2024. The rooms are simple and spacious with great access to the beach. The beach is clean, nice sand. Only thing is it's not a private beach so we were always looking over our heads with our kids regarding security. There was a security guard stationed right Infront of our room so we did feel a bit better. The breakfast is simple and lovely. They do try to make some small changes daily. But don't expect a huge spread. We went during off season so it wasn't too crowded & it was comfortable to use the pool and beach. We didn't have any problem to reserve the beach chairs. But I'd imagine during peak season this resort would be very crammed. Location is fantastic, LOTS of restaurants outside the resort. LOTS of spa, shopping.. Central Samui mall is just 800 m, a straight line walk down the road and we were BLOWN away how big it is! There's all sorts of shops there including uniqlo, h&m...a giant watsons.. Basically even if you forget anything, you don't have to worry because you Def can buy anything and everything in that mall. Beach is beautiful - clean, well kept. Waves are not intense so great for kids. Cons: Staff - some are really nice and friendly. Some are just not interested to be there. They Def need more training as to how to greet people, smile etc. The restaurant staff were not consistent in their behaviour. Also we felt that the staff were more friendly to the white/ Caucasian tourists than the Asians. Maybe they behaved this way to get more tips? Who knows. Construction still happening. So entrance looks pretty dodgy & the spa is non existent. Noise - there is a HUGE nightclub next door so expect some noise pulsating, it's not that bad if you have ear plugs and aren't sensitive. Also there are planes taking off and landing as the resort is near the air *****. This did not bother us as our kids loved it so much. Alot of retirees, older profiles as opposed to families with young kids so we felt bad sometimes being the loudest at breakfast.. Or at the pool etc.

We had a fantastic stay in Baan Chaweng resort and spa , we stayed in one of the delux bungalows. Room was perfect and 30 seconds from the beach , the staff were excellent during our stay special mention to Tam, Win, George and Beam who looked after us so well for the week keeping us cool with lovely milkshakes. The hotel is in a perfect location for both nightlife, restaurants and shops but still set far enough back that it is very peaceful. I would definitely recommend and would love to return.
