I usually stay at fern, whenever i visit kolhapur, the place is neat and clean, with good hospitable services. The food is good too

I reached late night and was given a really small corner room that had no dedicated place to keep a large suitcase - so i used the clothes cupboard to store my suitcase over 3 days. They give two small bottles of water and when i ran out of water the first night i requested them to give me 2 bottles of water early the next morning. The restaurant said they could only send water bottles that i would have to pay for. When i called reception, they asked me to wait. After an hour when i asked them to send the water, they said i was not entitled to as i was checking out in the morning. I told them that i had only spent one night and had two more nights to go. The reception asked me to wait thereafter. A full three hours later i stepped out of the hotel to go about my daily work - i had still not received the promised water bottles. Not sure what kind of folks run fern - but since it is an environment friendly hotel, they must be into conserving water. Have never had this sort of experience in any hotel that i have stayed in.

This property is situated in a convenient location, easily accessible from the highway. You may take advantage of the discounts offered on food and beverages during your stay. While the guest rooms are acceptable, they may not be as luxurious as other properties within the same price range. However, if the price offered is 2500 + tax, it would be a wise decision to book this property.

We booked hotel for 2 days, interior and facilities were excellent, food delicious, only need improvement in service, staff is cooperative but service at restaurant is very slow, at buffet breakfast plates were not clean and we have to ask to give with other plates. Housekeeping is done only when asked to do
it was a good stay but if these small issues were looked after it will add value to hospitality provided. Overall good experience. Archana patil

Stay was comfortable but average! small issues like, they provide only 1 key and reason was that if they give additional then 1st key will be deactivated (i have heard this for first time ever) all hotel chains provide 2 keys if requested! only 2 bottles per day for 3 people & additional charges for extra bottles - dont mind paying but this is basic for any hotel to provide water on de***d - this was a first as well! nothing negative but service and overall staff communication needs to be service oriented!

Rooms at Fern Kolhapur are spacious and hygienic , service was quick and food quality was good , The hotel is located on the highway, which goes towards the city and is also convenient for visiting the nearby MIDC , Local transport is available. All amenities were provided in the room, any thing additional can be requested as per requirement

Veeksar fern kolhapur is a better option to stay in kolhapur. But hotel has some cleaning and plumbing issues. Staff is good
