The Aster Heritage

I have no one positive point, for this reason no stars has been given. I would never recommend anyone this place for stay! These pictures which represent the room are completely different and opposite what you see when enter the room. For example, the washbasin was broken and not everything was clean. This is more for youngsters rather than for family visit. Also, the host Divya is not present when you enter the guest house. Lastly, we planned and booked two days for the stay and one the first day when we saw the condition of the room we immediately changed our plan and tried to get refund for the second day but unfortunately we did not get it.

My second trip at Aster. Room was quite good and staff was also very polite. I was in Suite and it was well maintained with all Morden amenities. It was a nice stay. Location of Aster is well. Thanks

Comfortable, safe, clean and pretty, located in the finest area with the most helpful staff and an always available host. Whether you're traveling solo or with friends and family, I'd highly recommend Aster Heritage!

Great location,nice property, really pleasant and clean rooms, healthy and tasty food, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay is the warmth, degree of professionalism of all the staff members.All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Special mention Ms Divya Malik. Actually, I made bookings for my family, as they were new in city I was bit concerned.But the kind of warm reception and wonderful hospitality Ms. Malik and other staff members extended to my family during their stay was truly overwhelming. It was heartwarming to listen through them, how comforting their stay was. All the requests were well kept in mind and fulfilled to the best possible levels. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay. If you're looking for a proper blend,home away from home, I would highly recommend this property. Coz I'm certain, I will reconsider it every time I visit there. Warm regards.

The Aster Heritage will mesmerise you with its modern yet old world charm. Designed aesthetically with a vintage gramophone kolkata pictures and large beds- keeping the comfort of the guest, and the same is reflected in the service their team will provide. Be it being served iced tea upon arrival to the delicious home made meals they offer- this place is more than you can ask for. The place is spotless clean and they have round the clock service for anything that you may request for. They will do it with a smile. Aster Heritage has different categories of rooms you can choose from and is very reasonably priced for the amenities. I have been a regular visitor of their property and I’m extremely satisfied with them. I highly recommend, look no where else and go for this property. You will love it 😊

Comfortable and spacious, Aster Heritage has an old soul. Very plush with old school designs and new age comfort! We were taken care of well. They even accommodated us on short notice after we had a horrific experience wrt accommodation in Kolkata! Definitely consider staying here on your next visit! I know I will.

This was our third and last stay in this place. We chose this place looking at the photos and the impressive descriptions in their website. In reality, the place is poorly maintained. Considering that it is housed in nearly a century old historical building named Stephen Court, that once caught fire in March 2010 – it is expected that the maintenance following that tragedy should have been such that it would be safe for the inmates thereafter. But alas!! It is not so. First of all being right on busy Park Street – it is noisy right through the day – till at least late evening. Secondly – there is NO parking available for visitors. Cabs need to be parked far away from it – in case one is fortunate enough to find one – otherwise one has to be at the mercy of God. In August 2022 when we came it had been raining incessantly and the walls were dripping (through the AC also – to my horror!! See the photos! – unfortunately I cant attach the video of this episode!) Well this was rectified after we raised a hue and cry last time. Also the kitchen hygiene and washroom sanitation is not up to the mark. Basically the place was being managed very efficiently by two caretakers – Naren and Tarak – both of whom are excellent supports and they tried their level best to address all the grievances. Naren unfortunately was missing this time and so Mr Tarak this time was overloaded with the work of taking care of the inmates – which he did with a smile of course! But this is not the ideal situation and certainly not the best example of hospitality. You will find dysfunctional plug points in the room – both taps in the washroom producing hot water ( it was mentioned that it’s because the water in the overhead tank was getting heated – which ideally should be addressed before they rent out their accommodation). So finally we were gifted with a bucket of cold water to make do for the day!! On top of everything, the owner attempted a number of times to shift us from one room to the other, but since we were not sure if it would be a case of ‘frying pan to fire’ we resisted. I realised that they don’t have inverters in case of power failure – which happened this time and we were left high and dry – not knowing what to do!! Book at your own risk!!

The property was very badly managed, very poor sanitation. Washrooms had a bad stench.the caretaker was very clumsy and irresponsible. Not value for money at all. Not recommended at any cost. Kindly do not consider this stay
