Few days earlier, I went to this hotel to book a room for my RSM. He used to stay at Glassotel (Near Panchannagram) normally. But this time we had not make booking for him as the visit was for sudden. Glassotel was sold out for 2 days. So I was finding nearby good hotel through online searching. Then the hotel ***ager suggested us about Hotel Vedanta. I searched it in online and the reviews are hot and cold. We went to that hotel without an online booking. A lady with glasses was in reception. We asked her about the room categories and prices respectively. They call their rooms Oak & Maple. Oak is a standard room and Maple is a deluxe room (Although there is not so much difference in both the rooms. Deluxe is little bit bigger than the Standard). Oak was 3000 and Maple was 3800 for single occupancy as the lady receptionist told us. We requested her to low the room rent little bit, but she was not ready and her behaviour was peculiar. Just at that moment I saw Treebo board over there and I searched on Treebo where I saw Oak was 2100 and Maple was 2600 for single occupancy. When I showed this to that lady, don't know what happened, her behaviour got changed in a fraction of second. We can't expect this kind of rude behaviour from a hospitality sector worker. She needs to learn how to behave with a customer. Although we did not book that hotel and we booked in NX Hotel which is next to this hotel. But for other person it is my request that please do not go to this hotel without an online reservation. Otherwise you could face this kind of mishaps.
