Just spent a week here, nothing to do but relax and enjoy the sunshine. Hotel was spotless throughout and staff were polite and friendly. Our room was on ground floor with a patio area. Room was very spacious with bedroom, kitchen living area. Bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Loads of wardrobe space and unusually plenty of hangers!! Kitchen had a fridge which was handy for keeping the water cold. On the roof a lovely pool reached via a lift, with plenty of cabana beds, sun beds and towels readily available, warning the pool is COLD but lovely once you brave getting in! Outside is the beach area with again beds available, perfect for reading and relaxing with several sets of steps access to the sea. The bar/restaurant area has lots of comfortable chairs and tables all with the beautiful view of the bay. Food and drinks are available all day from included breakfast to dinner. We were half board so our menu was limited but the staff were extremely helpful to me as there was a lot of fish/seafood which I don’t eat, they offered an alternative meal. All members of staff were friendly and polite especially the head waiter, sorry can’t remember his name!! Only a couple of downsides for us personally 1. The public ferry to Dubrovnik was either 7am or 12.30pm (one too early and the other the hottest part of the day) you could have private transfers but at a cost of €90!! Maybe the hotel should consider a small boat of their own for guests to share? 2. A few times boats would moor in the bay and we would have an ‘invasion’ of people using the bar area and toilets. We found this a little intrusive when trying to relax, especially when one German man thought it acceptable to ***** out of his clothes and into swimwear for all to see!! All in all we would recommend the hotel if you want total west from it all relaxation.
