"A 40 minute boat ride from Dubrovnik with Lolo and you arrive at the wonderful Kalamota Beach Hotel. The hotel rooms are rather basic in style but extremely comfortable and very clean. We were in a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchenette which we never used! The views are amazing. The breakfast is buffet style and plentiful. All the action happens outside on their beautiful lounge chairs and couches and that's where the restaurant is. The water is crystal clear and there is a bar-restaurant in the cove that you can walk to and where day trips stop. Since it is a carless island it's fun to walk especially in the early morning. The staff is amazing. Special shout out to Mykola, the manager and Filip our waiter. Also, if you need something to read they have a great little library where people have left books. We had a bit of a White Lotus moment as everyone stood at the dock and waved goodbye to us when we were leaving. It was a very special moment!"

"The place is beautiful and the island is magical. We stayed for six nights. The room and bathroom weren't cleaned at all during our stay. In the shared kitchen, the bin was only emptied once, and it was emitting a terrible smell. To top it all off, while I was cooking an eggplant with olive oil, the German owner burst into the kitchen yelling "Es stinkt!" (It stinks!) and slammed the door! On the day of our departure, with our flight at 8:30 PM, and seeing that all three rooms were free, we asked if it would be possible to keep the room until 3:00 PM. The owner, who didn't speak a word of English, told us that the room had to be vacated by 10:00 AM. After some discussion, she agreed to give us more time. When we returned from the beach at 1:30 PM, she told us to get out. We offered to pay her for an extra day, but she wouldn't hear of it and threatened to call the police, yelling ""

"We had a wonderful stay. First of all, many thanks to the fantastic staff. Everyone was very attentive and pampered us. The food was also delicious at all times. The desserts, in particular, were outstanding. The location just outside Dubrovnik on this small island is phenomenal. Anyone looking for peace and quiet and wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik will find this the perfect place."

We walked all island around and was beautiful, not that hard to do if u wearing propper shoes 🙂. This property has no TV, but definitely not needed at all.
