We chose this hotel for a week because of its location on a quiet island a short ferry ride from Dubrovnic, where we had disembarked from a cruise ship .The transfer was good and we arrived at the hotel about 11.00 am.First impressions were very good and got better as time progressed. It is exactly as described and the island is rugged and unspoilt. The hotel sits directly off the sandy beach a short walk from the ferry drop off point. It is set over 2 floors, with the accomadation in seperate blocks up the hill. The surrounding area is hilly,as is most parts of this region. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with everything that you need for a holiday stay.It was overlooking a wooded hillside from the small balcony. It is a peaceful hotel with lovely friendly staff, good selection of all inclusive drinks and a wonderful choice of food. There is also a small shop,a bar and a restaurant a short walk away. There were plenty of very friendlyTui staff for excursions and advice, and the 2 reps from Ireland were brilliant. The entertainment was varied and very enjoyable. Most nights there were plenty of people dancing. If you want a quiet beachside holiday with a very laid back vibe, this is it.Bring walking shoes to explore, flip flops for the beach and dancing shoes for the evenings. It is not really suitable for people with walking or mobility problems because of the terrain and there being no lifts. There is an ATM close to the hotel but beware-I withdrew 50 euros and the charge was about £18 !!
